Leo showed us how to ride the quad bikes, performed some tests and then we chased him around the meadow and forest trails, allowing us to gain speed and expertise as he saw fit. Great fun and highly recommend. PS it was just after Covid lockdown and sensible precautions were being taken: no worries there.

Goodwood Aerodrome

Formerly known as RAF Westhampnett, the airfield has been located here since the Second World War, when it served as a satellite airfield to nearby RAF Tangmere. Its West Sussex location makes it the south coast's focal point for flying excellence, and gives pilots and their passengers a bird's-eye view over the Solent and the Isle of Wight.

Chichester Escape Rooms

Three different escape game rooms, with three different themes ranging from tricky to very difficult but all with just 60 minutes to escape the room.

First time in an escape room, we, in our mid 50's with one of the grown up children and their partner, no idea what to expect! Huge fun, the venue is well presented with plenty of parking and clearly signed, we were greeted on arrival and once the death Disclaimer was signed(!) a short video and into the room we went. A great way to work as a team, lots of different puzzles to solve with a few mini frights along the way. We completed the puzzle with a minute to spare. Definitely a great morning and will do again.

Dunreyth Alpacas

Dunreyth Alpacas offer Alpaca Walking Experiences, which have been enjoyed by people from as far afield as South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Holland, India and The Arab Emirates. Alpaca walks are available from Wednesday to Sunday every week of the year (except Christmas Day). WALKS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE . Unlike some other venues we offer clients to walk an an Alpaca each. No sharing unless requested . Walks are at 10.30am. Children must be over six years old, . As alpacas are herd animals and don't like to be alone, at least two alpacas must be booked per walk, which takes approximately 50 minutes, dependent on the alpacas' pace, which isn't all that fast. We have an onsite shop selling hand knitted Alpaca wear made from our own Alpaca for that unique gift and also Alpaca souvenirs of your Alpaca adventure ..

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with these lovely creatures! They are very soft, extremely friendly and are eager to be lead. They generally kept in formation, with a bit of friendly overtaking. They did stop every so often to munch on the vegetation and sometimes to dive into the prickly bushes! It's very interesting to see their individual personalities reveal themselves as the walk goes on. We were lead up a track as a line of alpacas and handlers towards the woodland and then stopped to give them treats at an opening at the top of the hill. We visited on a Wednesday morning for our prebooked walk. We went out with 2 other couples, so it was a 7 alpaca walk as the group leader took one also. At the end of the walk you have the opportunity to have a browse in the gift shop where they sell home made alpaca gifts, as well as items that they bring back from Peru. Obviously sensible, supportive footwear is essential as you are walking across muddy land that is not level and covered in twigs and tree roots, with the occasional muddy puddle. I would also recommend gloves for the wintertime as you are handling their lead the whole time and it is a little chilly on the trail. All in all, a lovely novel way to spend a morning in Chichester! Highly recommended for animal lovers.

Goodwood Motor Circuit

On arrival you are instantly taken back in time 70 years.. A beautiful Art Deco style racing circuit set in beautifully kept grounds.. I was met by a friendly lady who explained where to park and where to go to sign in clearly and cheerfully. This being Covid times she also took our temperatures, which fortunately both myself and my girlfriend both passed. I was then pointed in the direction to park my car..This was in one of the original Paddock areas where some fantastic cars and drivers of the past have graced. I parked and walked over to the sign in point. Again met by friendly staff all wearing masks who offered hand sanitizer and handed us a Covid awareness form to fill out. Then onto the main sign in point at the rear of the Jackie Stewart building..Again friendly staff all wearing masks who checked my driving licence. I was pointed to the Driver briefing area where we were all given a briefing of the day and told where the refreshments and toilets are as well as where spectating can be done.. The drivers were all told to queue by the manufacturer flags were of the cars we were to drive. In my case Audi, as I'd opted for a V10 R8. After a few minutes Simon came over to me and led me to the car. A beautiful well kept R8. He then proceeded to wipe down all the contact points in the car with antiviral antibacterial wipes and then asked me to get into it. Simon is a very calm clear speaking instructor and I felt at ease with his easy to understand instruction and in no time I was giving the Audi full throttle and changing the paddle shift gearbox up and down and pushing the car hard. When my drive had finished I parked the Audi and then as my package included a Hotlap with an instructor in a BMW M3 waited by the flag for this.. Possibly the youngest member of Everymans very professional polite team gave me a crash helmet to wear as obviously the Hotlap with an instructor would be more dangerous than my drive in the R8.. After a short while Graham ( Who turns out to be the event Manager and also extremely fast driver) came to greet me. We got into a late Model again mint car but this time a BMW M3. I climbed in and buckled up. Graham switched on the engine and then turned off the toys as he said, being the Traction control and the ABS. He asked 'Had I enjoyed my day so far?" I obviously said "Yes". He said "You,re going to love this then". He wasn't kidding. I didnt realise the M3 was such a weapon. Within seconds of leaving the Pitlane we hitting the 1st bend. The speed was incredible as was his driving. The whole lap flew by and he showed his skill at taming this beast of a car along straights and tight bends.. I was grinning from ear to ear and thanked him so much for topping my experience off with something I'll never forget. Would I go again? What do you think?.. A million percent yes. Overall a fantastic experience with a very professional company in fantastic surroundings that is known as Glorious Goodwood.. Thankyou Simon and Graham. All the fantastic stewards and Goodwood..A day I'll never forget..And a huge thankyou to my girlfriend Stacey for a Brilliant day.
