Asked a Bajan if I needed this on arrival for the last week of March(peak season) as was told no. WRONG!. We waited 1 hour in immigration and there were people in line far behind us as other planes came in. The line snakes outside the building when busy and there is no AC and little air moving about. After you get through immigration you must claim your luggage and wait in another line(customs) which seems like a complete waste of time. If you have kids you MUST use this service.

Contacted Andy late Friday and after swift email communication I was picked up from the airport as agreed on the Sunday. Efficient, reliable and value for money, had a great chat about Barbados on route to my accommodation with Andy pointing out local places of interest. I was part of a group of 14 on a cruise ship visiting Barbados. Once we exited the terminal at the pier, we met Michelle at the taxi rank. We hadn't booked any tours in Barbados or had any pre-arranged travel reservations. We just wanted to go to a beach, the ship recommended one location and when we met Michelle we asked her to take us there. She said this place was approx 35-40 mins away and wasn't a great location. We said the ship recommended Silver Sands and we wanted to go. Michelle said it would be $8.00 each to the beach. We arrived to the parking lot, all piled out of the van and headed towards the beach. Well, Michelle was correct, it was a beach in no-mans land with nothing else around. After a few minutes, we all headed back to the parking lot hoping to find a taxi to take us somewhere else, and guess what! Michelle was waiting for us!! She knew we'd be back! we couldn't believe it. She then recommended two other beaches and took us to both to see which one we would like. We settled on Dover Beach and what a great location! We had a fabulous day!! We arranged for Michelle to pick us up again at 3pm and she was there at 2.45pm ready and waiting. What wonderful service from Michelle, she definitely made our trip to Barbados a memorable one and we will never forget her driving us all over the place for $8.00 each! We were very lucky to have met her!
