Gilles and his wife, Florence, run a small, efficient and friendly company based in Pointe Noire. Florence deals with the car hire, Gilles is the transport. Hire a modern, automatic if you like, car from them at very reasonable rates and Gilles will collect you from the airport, give you a running commentary about various things to do with Guadeloupe, and deposit you at your hotel where your car will be waiting. All this with the utmost kindness in English, in which he is fluent, or French, his native language. We conducted a dual language conversation with him. He is interested in his clients, which makes for an easy relationship. Didn’t meet Florence but the transaction that she conducted with us by email was clear and comprehensive.
