Attending Ntuzuma Court

Reviewed By LandivdM

I stayed in accommodation in Umhlamga for easy access to Ntuzuma Court situated in the Phoenix/Inanda area on the western side of the N2. The roads are mostly brandnew (sometimes a challenge for my old GPS), but well signposted & with clever traffic flow tricks built into them. Got to the court from La Lucia in about 20mins time and was STUNNED by the imposing & modern facade on approach. Plenty of safe parking outside (a first for most courts I have been to). The inside of the facility was well-lit, modern with touches of local beading influence. Ramps provide easy access for all visitors to the 1st floor. This feature as well as sign posts on where to get a water bowl & pet bed for guide dogs is the first time I saw such a building cater to disable users. Court rooms are neat & well appointed. Typical modern court room layout & features, from what I could tell.

Bayside Hotel

Summer vacation

Reviewed By MrNtimane

We had a great time staying in Bay side 100. I would definitely like to come back next year, and also recommend other couples to check-in. The reception was very friendly and room service was great as the rooms are clean and good-looking. However, I would recommend that the hotel management work on fixing elevators as we sometimes have heavy luggage that is not easy to carry upstairs or downstairs, even though there are people assisting with such. Elevators are crucial in case I visit again with my wife pregnant I won't expect her to go up and down on those stairs.

Durban Manor Guest House

Mixed feelings

Reviewed By Rofti

Lots of mixed feelings about the place. When I arrived there the staff was very friendly, but when I was taken to my room I noticed that the room was not the same as what I booked and paid for. Luckily the room had an on suite bathroom as some of the other rooms have shared bathrooms. My room was nice and clean but the room looks out on the entrance/ walkway of the guest house. So you would have to keep your curtains closed permanently if you want some privacy. There is also no bedside lamps. The pool was dirty and had almost no water in, and the walls are thin so you would hear your neighbor's TV all night. The positives is the friendliness of the staff as well as the breakfast served. Free WiFi included. This will be perfect for a business trip or if you are only using the rooms to sleep at night.
