The room is nicely decorated and clean but one window faces the inner courtyard parking and anyone can pick a view inside, not to mention the noise and gases from the cars, the other, the bathroom one, faces a back alley on which the garbage is stored. The staff is using loudly the trash bins from late night to very early morning. The cooler in the room is very noisy and had to be unplugged. The restaurant is small and cannot accommodate enough customers. The staff is under specialized and careless. If you miss the breakfast there is no alternative until 13.30 - 14. The food on the other hand is tasty and there is a nice selection of beverages. Last order is 21.00 hours and the restaurant stays open until 22.00. If you try to order even 5 minutes after 21.00 it is not possible even if you tried to get the attention of a waitress 10 minutes previously. The argument was I should have gone to the bar and order there. The parking as well is insufficient for the amount of customers. The pool is small and has insufficient chairs. The temperature is right and it is clean. On the premises there is a playground which is nice. The hotel offers a lot more services that I didn’t try.

Reviewed By IonelaD16The location is ok, you can get easy by bike or car to the attraction points, but the prices are overrated for what they "don't" offer. Breakfast is poor and is the same all the time and dinner is not worth the money requested in comparison with other barns from Crit or Viscri. We went every night and eath at the gastronomic points who requested the same money for dinner, but it was exceptio al. In the room was cold and the lights from the bathroom didn't work properly. The dogs were barking every night under our window. It is not a cozy place if you are looking foe the authentic Transilvania experience. The rooms are clean and the place looks amazing, but nothing else spectacular.

Amazing place
Reviewed By pmd76The apartment is located right on the main square and has an amazing view from the living room window. The rooms were large, decorated in a modern style and well appointed. The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact if you needed any assistance. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and there’s a large supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Absolute center of the city
Reviewed By januslacSuperb location, on the main square. Lived in apartment no.3 Nicely renovated clean apartment, 2 stories with the bed upstairs. Window towards the square (piata Sfatului). Rather small window, would have been excellent with a larger view, but still kind a cool looking directly at the topspot of the city. Tip: If you ned parking, bring coins. It is almost impossible to change to coins, and we couldnt get the P-app to function.

In the heart of old town Brasov

The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Classic style, but with a modern bathroom, which we appreciated!

The hotel offers comfortable rooms fitted with flat-screen TVs with cable channels. The bathrooms include showers. Ave Lux hotel serves breakfast. Also you can visit Lake Noua, Dambu Morii(7 Stairs Canyon)

Reviewed By Ilie DPoor breakfast, bad bed, bad shower(no hot water ), alcohol purchases from the reception “only cash payment”, stained and dusty floor, bathroom fan not working, bad or no lighting when going in the room. I wouldn’t recommend it only if price is the only one that matter.

Reviewed By JojoclearyIf I could give 10 stars I would. This hotel is hospitality at its best from the moment we arrived until we left. The owners are super friendly, the staff also & very efficient. We were upgraded to a suite with a view of the castle, outstanding. The cleanliness impeccable & everything you need provided in the bathroom. The food was delicious, choice plentiful, breakfast was like a banquet! The castle is across the road & everyone in Bran is friendly. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, thank you for a wonderful trip.

Decent and honest place
Reviewed By aiciandreiLiked: 1. Big room with 2 twin beds, and 1 extra large bed (aprox 190x200). 2. Clean room, and sparkle bathroom. 3. Good location, and also safe and good parking lot (it is behind de hotel, and you need to ask for guidance) 4. Toiletries, flip flops and everything necessaire for bathroom. 5. Presence of an elevator 6. Big window, with street view. 7. Very friendly and receptive staff. Disliked: 1. No possibility for breakfast. 2. Wi-Fi password isn't written anywhere in the room, lobby, or reception. 3. Nothing in the kitchenette or room for a small snack, like a bag o tea, some instant coffee or things like that. 4. Minibar was empty. 5. Sheets had a pretty akward smell (it was cleen, but maybe a smell from the storage, idk) 6. All the bathroom plumbs are visible, and not hidden behind any type of wall, or cover (and this gives a strange felling for a hotel bathroom). To be improved: - some tea, instant coffee, and a biscuit in the room/kitchenette would be a very nice touch - Wi-Fi password to be written on a paper in the room (maybe sticket to the inside door, to be visible), or on the floor door, or even on the lobby would be a MUST. - all the plums in the bathroom could be covered in something nice, to not feel like in an industrial bathroom.

Comfortable Quiet Room in Brasov Old Town

The owner is very sweet. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We highly recommend it for your trip to Brasov Old Town.
