Visit one of the world's 21 Biodiversity Hotspots at Kanneliya Rainforest. The forest complex designated as a biosphere reserve in 2004 by UNESCO.The Kanneliya complex is the last large remaining rainforest in Sri Lanka. The Reserve today, is sans one of the most popular attractions.The forest reserve consists of a series of parallel hills and valleys ranging in elevation from 60m to 425m above sea level, and extending to an area of approximately 5306 hectares. It acts as a catchment for many rivers and streams; including Gin Ganga and Nilwala Ganga, that have their sources within the forest, and flow toward the west and the east of the forest respectively. The forest boasts a diverse range of flora and fauna. You might see monkeys, snakes, chameleons, extensive birdlife and a vast range of tropical trees, plants and flowers and a beautiful waterfall...

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

In October 2019 we spent ten days in Sri Lanka with Danu, one of supuns drivers. We had some very special days and also many insights into the Sri Lankan culture. It was very easy to plan the trip together with supun. We just wrote a mail to supun and got a proposal with many different possibilities to do during our trip through Sri Lanka. Also they were very flexible with the tour planning, both in advance and during the trip. With Danu we had the chance to visit many local places, not only the tourist ones. This was very nice! We always had best dinner/lunch places (local ones). As we were very flexible on the tour, we could stay longer or shorter on the different sights. Price-Performance Ratio is very fair, i would always recommend Supun and Danu to all my friends. Over all: We had a very nice trip in Sri Lanka. Worley was a great guide who took us to at least four major tourist attractions in Chengdu in four hours from pickup to our hotel at the W and back. She is very knowledgeable including history of religions, architecture, and is a big panda fan. The tour was not the typical bike ride we are used to where we stayed on bikes the majority of the time. We took the metro and walked around the places we visited on this tour and probably traveled on bike for about 10 km. It was a wonderful introduction of the city that allowed us to see Wenshu Monastery, Kuanzhai Alley, People’s Park, and Qingyang Palace. We were pressed on time otherwise Worley would’ve spent more time in the locations. Thank you, Worley, for the great tour!
