We visited Iceland as a stop on a cruise and I had booked this tour for our party of 6. We were picked up at the cruise terminal gate by our driver/guide for the day, Denis.The transport was a Volkswagen multivan and was just right for us. I am no longer nimble but Denis gave me a hand when needed. We had a wonderful day enjoying a little of this beautiful country. Denis was very informative and passionate about his home. We had a number of stops and great photo opportunities. We also stopped at a tomato greenhouse restaurant and had a delicious lunch. We added The Secret Lagoon to our tour as an extra. The time passed too quickly but the day has given us fantastic memories. Sergei, who runs the company answered my questions pre-visit promptly and the booking process was simple.

I booked two full day trips, transfers to and from airport and the Blue Lagoon with this company. We were a party of four adults that included two ‘seniors’ one of whom is disabled - me! All arrangements were agreed in writing and I was provided with a full, clear Itinerary for our stay. The drivers arrived at the expected time for each occasion and the vehicles were exceptionally good. They managed my scooter (and the luggage) cheerfully - both in actions and attitudes and I was treated with dignity at all times. The day trips in a 4 x 4 were outstanding and adjusted by agreement to meet the party’s desires and weather changes. Both of the young men who escorted our party were charming, informative and great company. By the end of both days, we were a family! Thank you so much Gisele and Audunn! Without doubt you can see the Golden Circle and the South Coast cheaper by coach tour or self-drive but neither can compare with the personal service and depth of knowledge about the island, it’s geography, society and culture provided by one’s own tour guide. The journeys in a 4 x 4 are more comfortable and exciting too!! If this is your first, your only or a special trip, don’t think twice about paying for the best if you can. This was my second visit to Iceland but hopefully not my last. Thank you Ao Thur for making it such fun and with more marvellous memories -again. Hugs Mary.

It was one of the many highlights of our stay in Iceland. We saw beautiful sceneries, waterfalls, black beach and glacier. We booked 5 days private tour with Iceland Premium Tours, and we were hosted by none other than the CEO Orvar himself. He has been very accommodating towards our request, and provided his unparalleled understanding of Iceland itself. We have been hit by bad weather thru the week, he never stopped a moment to suggest alternate alternatives, without compromising of safety. When we were on the way to the airport, knowing that we did not managed to see the aurora, he took a last effort and drove us to a location for a last ditch effort. We booked the trip from New York, and we’d heard of Sarah through friends in India. The trip was very meticulously planned, and proved to be a very good respite during the pandemic. Iceland is a very beautiful country, and Arago added quite a few unconventional stops on our tripX which made it even more memorable.

What ever you do in Iceland, this must be on your list. The South Coast tour is absolutely…well there are not enough strong words to describe The South Coast. This area of Iceland literally takes all of your words and leave you like that the whole tour. This tour has everything Iceland has to offer. Volcanos, lava, stunning waterfalls, glacier, ocean, black sand and cliffs. Not to mention an awesome local Viking that will guide you through and keep you the best company. We can not promise though he will not show up in Viking costume. It is different how far our guides take this Viking thing. We offer a wake up service. Sometimes we have to go all the way to guests hotel room to pick them up. We do not offer dress up service though. If you are on time, just wait in the lobby and you will be picked up there.

We where picked up at Bust stop one in the centre of Reykjavik by a very pleasant young lady ('The German girl'), Faye I think is her name. On time. The whole trip was great fun and our guide/driver was funny, engaging, accommodating and a safe driver. We drove through snow storms that we had never experienced before (we are from Australia) and we never felt like we were in any danger. The sights were pretty quite as far as other tourists are concerned, due to COVID-19 which was rather nice. The farm visit was awesome - food for vegetarians was an option - and our host there was great and provided us with a very interesting bit of history for the local area and their family business (hope they are still managing with all the restrictions). I recommend this trip for anybody as the walking was easy and the bus comfortable.

Thank you Helga for such a fun experience! We had our Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik tour in March of 2019 and we still think about how amazing the experience was. Helga was very knowledgeable and drove us around telling us about the city. She also brought us to the Blue Lagoon and dropped us back off. It was easy, convenient and affordable. We would do every tour with her if we could! We can’t wait until we can come back to Iceland !!!

Glacier Discovery can’t recommend it enough!! What an amazing glacier hike we had. It started by getting picked up by our guide Snorri in Freysnes on this massive 4x4 super jeep. From there he drove us a short trip up to the glacier where we switched to crampons and hiking boots. We were quite lucky with the weather, and since the world is going through this covid times, we were the only group up on the glacier. That made for a peaceful but yet an experience full of action and adventure. Considering myself maybe a bit above average when it comes to hiking I can say that I felt comfortable the whole time on the glacier, specially after our guide showed us some tricks on how to fully utilize the crampons on the ice. Snorri our guide was a champ! Full of knowledge and funny. Definitely recommend and If I get the opportunity I will take another trip with them. Regards Siggi
