Secluded beach accessible only by trail or boat. I do recommend doing the trail part as it is more rewarding and you'll have a lot of fun!

Carretera Samana Toll Road

Reviewed By 325ajd

It’s a cool, scenic short cut to Las Terrenas and other towns from the airport and main highways. It’s relatively new, you used to have to take a scary bumpy half paved, half collapsed old road via Sanchez to get anywhere - memories of kids vomiting. This is a vast improvement. The toll, at around 570 pesos and ever rising, is too expensive for most locals so there’s very little traffic - make of that what you will.
