We spent the afternoon at the monastery. The guided tour (in English) was extremely informative, pleasant and fun. Highly recommend taking the guided tour. Beautiful area. Beautiful monastery that has areas both in ruins and renovated.

The collegiate church is an emblematic building in Saint-Bonnet-le-Château. The church is almost 600 years old. It was built in gothic style. Inside the collegiate church, with a guide, you can admire two treasures: a chapel entirely decorated by frescoes from the 15th century, and a library from de 18th century which contained 2000 books.
