Gallery KusKovu (Piece of Metal), established in 2006, presents objets d’art, sculpture and jewellery made from metal or metal combined with other materials in its permanent collection. Gallery KusKovu specialises in art pieces mainly by Czech artists, artist blacksmiths and jewellery designers, both experienced and recent graduates. Our priority is conceptual originality and professional fabrication. KusKovu also works on commissioned pieces, both architectural and sculptural. Gallery KusKovu regularly hosts exhibitions by artists working with metal and other materials.

In this three to four hour workshop, the award winning director and doll artist Ozlem Akin will be teaching how to make a small puppet with thread joints. You will make your own golem, sculpt the head, hands and feet, and make a fashionable slippers and a hat. Gallery of Steel Figures is an interactive and original exhibition in the centre of Prague. Our steel figures are inspired by characters from cartoons, sci-fi, fantasy, fairytales, pop culture as well as animals and hits from the automotive world. You can touch, climb in and sit on all the figurines and of course, take pictures with your favourite superheroes or childhood friends. And the good part is, all exhibits are made from recycled steel parts! Which means, we managed to make scrap and metal waste into art! We exhibit over 100 figures on 1200 m² and two floors in a beautiful art noveau building in the historical centre of Prague. If you get tired, you can rest at our café on the 1st floor and have a cup of coffee, homemade lemonade or a delicious fresh pizza.
