Melissi Delicatessen is a shop created to focus on the Parian gastronomic treasures, but also to offer a collection of Cycladic wines, cheese, sausage, pasta and sweets from all over the Aegean –and a touch of natural self-care. The store is cozy and functional with thematic corners, while honey is present everywhere: on the shelves, in the cosmetics, at the decoration and the overall scent... The owner’s family has a small model apiary in the family estate, the son's dream was to be a beekeeper. Thus, the apiary provides Melissi with pure thyme honey –an organic beekeeping product without chemicals– but also with propolis, pollen, royal jelly and wax of the highest quality. Honey also provides the foundation for the Pure Products cosmetics, created by the owner, Maro Voulgari. The line includes original face and body products, and also nutritional serum, sunscreen and soaps with active raw materials. The vineyard also produces a top quality souma and a traditional dry table wine.

Love this shop, their ethos of using eco friendly materials and beautiful colours makes this stand out from shops of a similar ilk. The jewellery and accessories have to be viewed first hand and the lovely Vasso and Yanni are on hand with their knowledge and smiles to put you at ease from the moment you enter the shop. Situated on the parallel street to the main Naousa thoroughfare next to the art gallery it’s worth stepping over there to take a look. Peaceful setting too! Highly recommended!
