Big Bear Lake is a small city in San Bernardino County, California, located in the San Bernardino Mountains along the south shore of Big Bear Lake, and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest. The city is located about 25 miles (40 km) northeast of the city of San Bernardino, and immediately west of the unincorporated town of Big Bear City. The population was approximately 5,019 at the 2010 census, down from 5,438 at the 2000 census. Being a popular year-round resort destination, however, the actual number of people staying in or visiting the greater Big Bear Valley area regularly surges to over 100,000 during many weekends of the year.

Big Bear Lake's only Rockshop! We offer a wide range of rocks and minerals from, or typical of, the Western United States. Our star exhibit is a 15lb meteorite found in Big Bear. We have a kids' table with at least 20 kinds of mineral all priced at $2 or less. Kids also enjoy handling coprolite (dinosaur poop) which is at least 66m years old. Our wellness and metaphysical section offers a very wide range of stones, pendulums, copper and bags of sets of stones designed to help with situations such as Loss and Grief, Anxiety, Depression, etc. Learning for all ages is central to what we do, about the minerals themselves, but also how they form. We aim to help our visitors enjoy their visit as well as learning about the items in the store.

Great store for souvenirs and local art! Located right in the village, a really nice store with quality merchandise and helpful sales people. They also offer a repeat customer discount of 15% which is nice too!!! If you are looking for souvenirs or gifts, a nice shop to be in!!
