Born and raised in Buffalo, I've only been in the ocean once - 25 years ago on a school trip. I was *terrified* but determined to at least try surfing once in my life. SO glad I didn't chicken out! Anthony was my instructor, and though I had signed up for group lessons, it turned out to be just me. So, he stuck with me the whole time to make sure I was safe and help me handle the board. My 40 year old, out of shape ass was standing on the board and staying on it for long enough to actually ride a little wave! He put me at ease despite me having basically no muscle or athletic ability, being completely unfamiliar with the ocean, and being nervous as hell. He just made sure I had fun and felt good about the experience. I wasn't sure I would like this - the water looked cold and choppy, I was feeling a bit hungover, but it was the most fun I can remember having in YEARS and if you're on the fence about trying surfing you should absolutely go for it. You won't regret it. Don't miss out!

The GoCars were so much fun! The staff was amazing—very informative and energized! The standard cars are a bit smaller and don’t offer much leg room for taller people...and only having three wheels had me a bit nervous at first, but I got used to it! (: Definitely recommend this as a great experience for couples, friends, or family.
