Its a must see in cdo, though its in el salvador ,we hired a van going there. We paid 1000 for the van with driver, it qould take 30 mins to reach there.. small marrianne priest shops are avail where you can buy a container to get a holy water. Container is cheap and worth the buy...and you van also drink the holy water. The church is so wonderful... the visit is worth it.

Metropolitan Cathedral of Immaculate Conception

Reviewed By JoepepCielos - Luzon, Philippines

This was my second time to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Zamboanga City. But this was my first time to attend a mass and got to see the second floor of the church. What is unique about this holy place is that it houses two (2) churches or worship places: one (1) at the ground floor and another one (1) at the second floor. But all the regular masses are being conducted at the second floor. The church is big and white. The design is both timely and stylish with some old designs that can be seen in its window and wall glasses. It was a great place to worship and pray.

Statue of the Divine Mercy

Reviewed By AlbertChanParan - Cebu City, Philippines

It was an answered prayer and a big check ✔️ on my bucket list to visit the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental where I had a Divine Mercy Holy Week 2019 Pilgrimage where I pray for miracles and healing. Maam Elizabeth, on Holy Thursday during my first night at the shrine over dinner right after the holy mass, I was totally moved to tears and all of my body hair raised up from the tip of my head up to the hairs on my legs by her powerful testimonial that totally blew me off. I was absolutely speechless and in mixed emotions. It made me reflect and praise in silence the wonder of God's miracle from the moment she decided to end her life by committing suicide more than a decade ago and, as she found her painless body opened up on the operating table in the hospital after 6 months praying the "Lord of Pardon" booklet when she accepted the Divine Mercy of Our Lord Jesus Christ into her life. She gave me her booklet to pray for healing. On Good Friday, I prayed the Day 1 of the 9 days Divine Mercy novena with the chaplet at the Divine Mercy Hour at 3PM facing the 50ft statue. During the Santo Entierro Procession at around 5PM, God sent a Dancing Sun/Miracle of the Sun. It was the third time I personally experienced this phenomenon.

This is a beautiful Catholic Church; probably the most beautiful I have seen. You would not expect such a beautiful church in such a small city. It is a must see.

Masjid Dimaukom (Pink Mosque)

Reviewed By andreairinnav - Panabo City, Philippines

I went to Maguindanao last June 23 as part of my 3 day solo backpacking adventure. i admit, the idea of going to Maguindanao alone is so crazy even my mother warned me not to go there. But to cut the long story short, I went there, on my own. I took a van from Koronadal City and travel time is more than one hour. As the assistant to the driver told me I am already in my desired destination, I took a deep breath and got out. It was so hot, the sun was already scorching. From the main road, I can already see the hot pinkness of the mosque. It was so stunning. I have never seen such a marvelous architecture. From afar, it looks like a pink palace. I got in and went to the souvenir shop to ask how can I get inside. She told me I need a scarf or anything to cover my hair. Since I don't have any I asked her if can I buy it. Instead, the kind lady lend me her scarf and told me to bring it back later. I went inside, and if I was so amazed on the exterior of the mosque, the interior was even more stunning. It is a palace. Everything is so royal. I took photos of the entire place and was glad I survived this adventure. Maguindanao is awesome. The people were so warm and accommodating. My experience in this province was really unforgettable.
