This year’s 37th Kagyu Monlam is being started with a preliminary teachings on Meditation by Mingyur Rinpoche and followed by Gyaltsab Rinpoche who’ll lead the 37th Kagyu Monlam. This is a wonderful place to learn about Mahayana Buddhist philosophy and meditation. They have ten day courses with excellent teachers. The venerable Namgyl has a very enjoyable teaching style bringing laughter and happiness to the profound dharma teachings. Root Institute also has a charitable health clinic on sight and a nearby school providing volunteers opportunities for engagement in service.

During my visit to Gaya, we stayed just near 1.2KM away from this place. The intention to stay there was to visit all the important sites in or near Bodh Gaya. This temple is one of the largest and most visited temple/monastery among many many Monasteries & temples. This temple is just near to the Large Buddha Statue. If you are Buddha Follower or wish to explore about Bodh Dharma must visit this site.
