Lovely place for relaxation, nice staff, and good cocktails
Reviewed By urukkayLovely place for relaxation. The highlight for us has been the staff and the great afternoon cocktails. We stayed in a villa which is contains 2 rooms per building. Ours was only occupied by us (as were all villa's distributed when enough space). Room was clean, with some unexpected bird poo on the sheets. This was however quickly resolved and seemed due to venting the room before our arrival. Throughout the remainder the room was really nice and we'll maintained. Exactly like the pictures. The garden is also cleared from leaves every day which gives it that utopian look. Never dined or lunched, but attended breakfast everyday. Some Thai choices and some western choices. Buffet was fine but not exorbant. As there weren't allot of visitors so choice was limited. One day it even was a la carte due to too few people. Vegetarians have some options with a freshly made omelet, toast, croissant, yoghurt, and some Thai cooked vegetables. Pool was nice, big, but also quite weird in terms of layout and effective shape. The bar has afternoon happy hour with 99 baht for a cocktail. These were surprisingly good. All in all 5 stars.

First experience in Khao Lak
Reviewed By Chrisby2013Had purchased a Scoopon Deal in 2019 & was only able to use in 2022. Pick up from airport was seamless and upon arrival was greeted by many staff and they all assisted our group with the Test & Go process. The three rooms for our group were located next to each other overlooking pond. The beach restaurant & pool area & spa was in easy walking distance. The restaurant for breakfast for the first 5 days was located upstairs and many stairs to climb. The staff were very keen to assist at breakfast & lunch & dinner. The food overall was ok however some of the set meals for Scoopon package were interesting. The pool area & the number of sun beds & umbrellas was very good. Our group enjoyed the spa treatments & access to the beach. Even though the resort was very quite of guests & staff our group had a wonderfull time at this resort. Having a pool table & ping pong table kept us busy too.

Reviewed By only_work_4_holidayHad a fantastic holiday all the staff are amazing so kind friendly and thoughtful. Accomodation was fab, had a two bed pool villa for the week. It had everything you could want and was cleaned daily to a high standard. Always staff around they were all very helpful they work so hard to make people's stay awesome and definitely succeeded for us. Never had to wait for anything including a buggy in the rain storm. The hotel was so quiet we seemed to have all the pools both on villa side and main hotel side to ourselves which was a lovely bonus. AI food and drinks good. Can have AI drinks at all the bars (didn't realise this at first) the sun set from the beach bar is awesome! Beautiful walk along the beach in the lovely warm water seeing all the different wildlife! Surf school and rental on site which is great. Hotel has a bus/car service into the town at a reasonable price used the local open back taxi services to return ( a little bit scary at times but what an experience). A short walk away is the Elephant home and we had an amazing time there including a delicious lunch at Memories bar. Fantastic hotel, gorgeous setting, amazing staff with plentiful facilities made an awesome holiday, would love to come back and explore Thailand some more from Apsara!

Cosy and quiet retreat
Reviewed By 49ThaliaStayed here for a week. Very hospitable and smiling staff. The rooms/bungalows were clean, and facilities good. There was a small, but adequate pool. There was not enough sun parasols for all the sun beds, which was a shame, as it was too hot to lie directly in the sun. The breakfast was ok, eggs to your liking, toast and jam, yogurt and fruit. I would have liked some alternative to the white, sliced bread, though. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, it’s a bit far from the beach and eating places, but we rented a scooter at a cheap price, so no problem for us. Lots of nice places to visit nearby if you’re mobile. Many of the guests had been here before, so obviously a place people come back to. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

Nice location but bad bf staff
Reviewed By BhawatI was stay here for 3 nights on 24-27 June 2021 with my friends (total 4 rooms) on vacation time. For overall is ok of resort checkin staff was nice but breakfast staff are very very rude and no service mind at all!! He serve a breakfast like a rubbish no speak anything no asking anything just throw a dish and gone. And my friends were asking him for some medicine (that be a regulation that every hotel need to have) but he answer suddently No!! No!!... you don't even try to ask some others staff or find in the storage that made me very mad. Finally i walk to reception and ask some other staff for medicine and he gave me what i want, very appreciated thank that guy so much. If not only bad bf staff and bad breakfast taste, all are very good
