Not what we expected from a Holiday inn.
Reviewed By OntarioTaffyWe enjoyed our stay due to the location, but. Expected better from IHG, it’s as if they’ve put their logo on an old Days inn hotel. Lack of maintenance, with sliding doors that don’t open and lifts/elevators that people get stuck in and that’s if their not out of service. Wifi was out for our last night of our 2 day stay and no room service. Staff were good and had a nice pool with a great location.

Being a IHG Diamond member I asked for an upgrade and Jackie already had it done, this was a first for me. Jackie was super friendly and provided excellent customer service. The room was nice with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. Breakfast was very good and our server was very friendly and attentive.

My only regret was I didn't stay long enough

Restaurant/Bar on premises for your convenience in addition to the pool and easy beach access. Clay brightened up our poolside experience. Clay's warm hospitality insured we were well fed and hydrated while taking our orders while we enjoyed the sun and plunge in the pool. Both dinner and breakfast onsite were great. Cody took care of us on our first night at dinner and made sure we enjoyed our meals. I felt like I was on a resort. I will return and recommend to others!

Reviewed By mnmelisaThis was our first time staying here , our room was clean, the staff was friendly. We were on the 7th floor and the view was amazing! The ocean view was wonderful! Got up every morning and watched the sunrise. The pool was nice. The only thing that I had a complaint about wasn’t the Hilton’s fault (I hope) but the guests. There was a strong smell of marijuana. You could smell it in the hallways and sometimes when setting on the balcony. It was a nice stay and we would probably stay again. I love that you can park around back close to the pool and ocean and keep your beach supplies in your car instead of lugging them up to your room. Also, we never had to wait long in an elevator which was a big plus for us being on the 7th floor.

Front desk Matt went above and beyond when he found out we were traveling with two teens (one with a birthday that’s why we were staying). He messaged me about additional items we could use before we arrived. It’s two girls…I just needed extra towels. Upon checkin, we arrived early but front desk Naomi assured us we could park and utilize the pool, tiki and beach access until our room was ready. The staff all around the hotel were all busy keeping the premises clean and tidy. Zac, Mike and another bartender at the tiki were attentive ti all guests as well as the public who could use the tiki. Our girls ordered the chicken tenders and French fries. They probably found have shared one. We did not order already knowing the girls would not eat their entire meal. We chose the suite with two queen beds and a separate living area. Well worth the additional space. This allowed the girls their area and us our area. PLUS both rooms were on their own AC!!! The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. Matt had told us we would not have the ocean view but street view. We were ok with that. Our room remained dark in the morning while sleeping in. The ocean view room had direct sunlight. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. I am not a fan of green peppers or cheese so the western omelette did not appeal to me. The kids and husband of course love the hot waffles. There were plenty of options for fruit and yogurt too. The only critique I have is the coffee…I need a more flavorful coffee…perhaps a dark or medium brew vs the light brew they had out. The pool and hot tub clean and ample chairs. Easy beach access. Honestly I can see why people state they come back to this hotel. It’s smaller, family friendly, and easy beach access. We are locals and truly enjoyed this staycation! Thank you for an enjoyable birthday for our daughter!!!

Reviewed By Girllovestotravel4The lobby has been renovated but the rooms are extremely disappointing. The bathroom smells like mildew and dirty. Bed and pillows need to be replaced. Carpet stinks and its covered by the fragrance spray they use.

GM in breakfast room was very helpful and kept room really clean, despite a number of sloppy guests. Bartender Brittany was a doll, paid close attention to my party despite numerous rowdy and rude guests who constantly gave her a hard time with orders that they either ”didn’t” place, or “mistakenly placed”. It appeared that they were looking for free drinks. Thru it all she remained calm and polite. Thank God these folks were only there for the weekend. But overall myself and my family enjoyed our stay, and since we own 3 bar/restaurants in New York, if Brittany ever decides to relocate here, we would hire her in a heartbeat!

Fantastic staff but aging property

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and restaurant food is very good. The rooms however are old and worn. There are multiple stains on the carpet and furniture has seen better days. Would I stay here again? Yes! Great conference facilities and pool area.

Horrendous Customer service
Reviewed By Fisher OWe stayed in 204, room was clean but the customer service was abysmal. Disraceful attitude when requesting replacement towels & wash clothes. The 2 young ladies working the front desk could care less about negative reviews. Maybe their supervisor should be aware.
