Make sure you are hungry when you do this tour. This is a true farm to table experience. Ante, our guide and host and winemaker picked us up in the morning and brought us to the Kravica waterfall. Then we went to his home where we met his mother and sampled her home made spectacular homemade bread, sweets, fruit, prosciutto, turkish coffee and more . Then we went out to tour Mostar where Ante guided us through the bazaar and to the famous bridge. Then it was back for the main course. Ante's mom served us peka. This is a traditional dish of slow cooked meat & potatos and spices (at restaurants you have to order this at least 24 hrs in advance). There was a homemade cheesecake, Ante's homemade wine flowed freely and we sampled his liquors as well. It was an unforgettable experience

What could be more delightful that six or so hours spent on Mario's well equipped boat enjoying the exhilaration of racing over the waves, swimming off the boat in crystal clear water or sunbathing on deck feasting on locally grown strawberries and grapes. Add to all these pleasures magnificent coastal scenery and an extremely well informed guide with an extensive knowledge of not just the best places to visit but a wealth of local history to add even more colour to the trip. Definitely a day to remember filled with delights. Thank you so much Mario!
