Our guide, Steven Atterson, treated us to a wonderful day in Geithoorn and Hasselt. The trip gave us a new experience in the Netherlands, combined with interesting history and discussion along the way. He took us to a local restaurant, with the best pea soup I have ever had. The entirety of the day felt like a traditional and local Netherlands experience. Steven is knowledgeable and easy to be with for the day. I highly recommend him as your guide for any Netherlands tour you desire to take.

Experience Holland with Holland Windmills, our small and local tour company. We are born and raised here and love to show you the best places during your holiday in Holland. We also love telling you stories about Holland! See famous windmills, taste cheese, try wooden shoes and walk through scenic villages. We know the best sights, what to visit and where to eat. Let us take you places where the crowds don't go and explore Holland at your own pace. Cheaper than a taxi, better than a big group tour and a lot more comfortable than organizing everything on your own. Ideal for couples, families and friends!

The entire day was an enlightening and enjoyable experience, after spending most of our trip in Amsterdam and other larger cities. Our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly, fitting a considerable amount of Dutch culture and history throughout the drive that we would never have learned ourselves. By taking a smaller passenger van instead of a tour bus, we were able to visit some smaller villages that would have otherwise been skipped for more touristy attractions. With perfect weather, venturing around the Dutch country side and small fishing villages made for a wonderful end to our trip.

In this adventurous tour we leave the crowded streets of Amsterdam behind us and go northward following the winding roads towards the countryside and into the beautiful fishing villages that surround the city Our way of transportation will be a vintage Ural sidecar motorcycle and this will be an experience you will never forget with a can't stop smiling guarantee.

Bert's voice - the man can even sing, his knowledge of Dutch history, flora, fauna, and architecture make this tour very special. The tour doesn't feel packed nor does it feel like you're reading a list of 10 things to do in Holland. The Russian Ural sidecar motorcycle makes for an impressive appearance. Bert isn't shy, so you shouldn't be shy either when you're riding the Ural beast as many locals will step up to you to have a friendly chat. Smiles from beginning to end as Bert picks you up at a location and time of your choice, and shows you a side of The Netherlands most tourists as well as locals don't know about. The tour is safe and comfortable while still seeing the Dutch lands from a unique angle. Bert has extra gear, clothing, you-name-it for different weather conditions. So if you forgot something, don't fret.

We just had the best day with Hans Langh, our private tour guide here in Amsterdam. I had found him through TripAdvisor, and had seen many excellent reviews on him, so I jumped right on it and reserved. So happy that we did! He was super knowledgeable about the Amsterdam area and its history, as well as the North and South Holland areas, and Schermerhorn, where there are some stunning tulip fields. We like to avoid touristy areas, and go off the beaten path, and he knew just where to take us. We also went to Keukenhof, and although it was busy as expected, it was so with it because the flowers were so beautiful. Hans is the best. Really. You will love him.
This private tour is so cool because it's fantastic to ride an electric scooter and see the countryside. "Let's go Dutch". Only your guide, who is a local, knows if, when, when, why, what etc :-) This is so much fun! Groups bigger than 4 on request. Send us a message first please.
Inclusions: Admission fees
Exclusions: Scooter runs: 40 euros per person. Pls pay cash to the guide
