We are on holidays in Avani Bentota and met Shiran on exit to ocean. Friendly man which knows a lot about Sri Lanka. We had interest in ocean's tours and he suggested us to visit whales tour. At 4am friendly driver picked up us from reception and delivered to Mirissa's harbor (he made the ride well, interesting told about a place where we go). Within 6 hrs trip on boat (good boat and staff) we wasn't able to see whales (didn't find them) and get back to the harbor. Just one negative moment: Boat provider refund a half of tickets price, because we didn't find whales (their terms and conditions) and driver got these moneys and told to speak with Shiran. "Friendly Shiran" said "it's a business" and paid back only 1/3 of refund. ????♂️

Our tour started with the pick up from our hotel at Galle fort. Roshan was so friendly and extremely informative. Had a wonderful day with new friends, enjoying the scenery and hiking the Rainforest. This should be in everyone's list when visiting Sri Lanka. Loved the added bonus of Tea factory visit. Guide Wigitha made the day amazing. Although no rain in the rainforest ,this day made the hike a bit less slippery, the flora, fauna and the waterfall -- all made a lovely day. One of our Dreams was to swim under the waterfall, and we got a chance to do it here. Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and the lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour and also this tour company.

We booked VTS Lanka for a custom tour of southern and central Sri Lanka and they were excellent. We wanted a driver to take us to all the different locations that we planned to visit while travelling round the country - Yala National Park, Ella and the hill region, Galle, whale watching in Mirissa etc. We arranged things with Vinodh by Whatsapp and the price quoted was amazing value - it included the cost of the activities we wanted to do, like safaris & whale watching, as well as a car and driver, who took us from place to place, showed us all sorts of attractions en route, and stayed the night nearby for the entire time, wherever we went. Our driver, Mr Rohan, seemed to know everything and everyone in Sri Lanka! If we wanted to stop for a bite to eat, he'd take us to a restaurant with a stunning view or overlooking a waterfall, for example. He took care of everything we needed during the trip, ie getting us seats on the fully reserved train from Ella through the mountains, and dealing with locals when we didn't understand. He was so friendly, reliable and smart, and was happy to take long detours to see interesting things. As a couple who are used to exploring places on our own and on foot, having a driver doing everything for us did take a bit of getting used to. Sometimes we just wanted to get to our hotel and explore on our own rather than be shown everything by car. But having a driver allowed us to see many amazing things that we would never known about or be able to get to via public transport. In the final few days of our trip, Mr Rohan took us to two of the most incredible viewpoints I have ever seen in my life, neither of which were in our Lonely Planet guide book. We would highly recommend VTS Lanka - they seem like a lovely team of people with connections all over Sri Lanka.

During our 4th stay in Sri Lanka in feb/march 2020, we had the pleasure of of taking part in the Services offered by Dimitours. At first we couldn´t really believe the positiv comments available online but now we´re completly convinced. We had a lot of fun. The tours are comfy, well planned and put in Action. No hassle, no stress. We had a driver as well as a guide, explaining everything in german. Both of them we´re friendly, likeable and easygoing guys. Being able to take part in the decisions, for example: where to rest, eat something or take a detour, is a big plus for us. We like it so much, that we booked a few tours at once. We travelled with Dim to many attractions, Sigiriya Rock, Dhambulla Temple, tea plantations, Yala Safari, Elephant Park etc. Dim Tours were very reliable and helpful in every way. We booked Smart Travellers for cab services during our Lanka tour. Anuradha was our guide who who helped us in getting to know Sri Lanka better.
