We had a lovely time visiting Iceland. As we didn’t hire a car Helga’s customised tours ensured that we managed to see all of Iceland sights including going beyond the itinerary to take us to the beautiful Diamond beach. We started as customers but parted as friends- beautifully run tours of small sizes so as personalised as you would like and value for money at the same time.

On this tour around the Golden Circle, we will confront the raw power of the Icelandic nature in south-west Iceland before finishing up with a magical soak in the Secret Lagoon, a quiet hot spring located in the small country village of Flúðir. With plenty of time to explore the natural wonders encountered along the way, guaranteed small group, and local guide who takes the roads less travelled, this is assured to be a tour you won’t forget – especially as it takes place during the quieter afternoon and evening time, truly the best time to enjoy the stunning sights in this part of Iceland.

My husband and I had originally booked the Vestmann Island tour, but as you might expect when visiting Iceland in the winter, the weather had other ideas. When the ferry got cancelled the owner offered their great circle tour instead - and yet the weather wouldn't even let us do that, blowing vehicles off the road. The owner instead picked us up at our hotel and gave us a six hour private tour of Reykjavik and the surrounding areas. Having driven taxi for 30 years in the capital area, Magnus not only knew where everything was, he knew stories about everything we passed. We saw much of the capital area and all the main sights, and even took a trip out to Bessastaðir, the official residence of the Icelandic President. He also paid our way into two museums. While I was sad the weather conspired to keep us from Westmann, I couldn't have asked for a better tour of the capital area, or a better tour guide.

Maybe you have noticed there is a lot here in Iceland that has Golden included in its name. The Iceland´s most popular tour, Golden Circle. Iceland´s Golden Cheese. Golden beer, golden waterfall. That´s because Icelanders believe it by their hearts that everything they do, own or make is the best in the world. Well enough of this. The Golden Circle has all this history, amazing nature sights and in this tour a great Whiskey. You get to see really breathtaking nature sights, because the Icelandic nature is so different from anything else in the world. You just have to come and see it and experience it. We offer a wake up service. Sometimes we have to go all the way to guests hotel room to pick them up. We do not offer dress up service though. If you are on time, just wait in the lobby and you will be picked up there.

Inclusions: Icelandic Whiskey, Free wifi

Exclusions: Access to Secret Lagoon

We where picked up at Bust stop one in the centre of Reykjavik by a very pleasant young lady ('The German girl'), Faye I think is her name. On time. The whole trip was great fun and our guide/driver was funny, engaging, accommodating and a safe driver. We drove through snow storms that we had never experienced before (we are from Australia) and we never felt like we were in any danger. The sights were pretty quite as far as other tourists are concerned, due to COVID-19 which was rather nice. The farm visit was awesome - food for vegetarians was an option - and our host there was great and provided us with a very interesting bit of history for the local area and their family business (hope they are still managing with all the restrictions). I recommend this trip for anybody as the walking was easy and the bus comfortable.

This is a must do while in Iceland. A a tour that offers a variety of natural wonders and stops that makes the day one you will not forget. Visiting the family at Efstidalur farm is not offered by most tour company's but we would not want you to miss it for anything. Faxi waterfall is a hidden gem you will most likely experience all by yourself. The tomato farm is simply a magical place to stop and have a quick bite or a drink, or both!

My mom and I visited Iceland for a week and had a couple of trips booked through Iceland Premium Tours. Our driver was none other than Örvar! The first trip he took us on was the 3-hour tour of Reykjavik coupled with an afternoon at the Blue Lagoon. First of all, the Jeep that we were taken around in was extremely spacious and comfortable. The windows had a cover over the top of it so even if you wanted to roll the windows down to get a better look at something, no rain or snow would come in to the vehicle. More importantly, Örvar was extremely knowledgeable about everything he was showing us in addition to all of the extra questions we had for him. Throughout the week Örvar was an absolute delight to be with—extremely professional and personable. He added on portions of our trip that were not on our original itinerary but that he thought we would enjoy such as the Viking museum and a pastry shop. He truly put so much effort into making this the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to Örvar and Iceland Premium Tours!

We booked 5 days private tour with Iceland Premium Tours, and we were hosted by none other than the CEO Orvar himself. He has been very accommodating towards our request, and provided his unparalleled understanding of Iceland itself. We have been hit by bad weather thru the week, he never stopped a moment to suggest alternate alternatives, without compromising of safety. When we were on the way to the airport, knowing that we did not managed to see the aurora, he took a last effort and drove us to a location for a last ditch effort. And we managed to catch a glimpse of it finally! Thank you Orvar!

Thank you Helga for such a fun experience! We had our Blue Lagoon and Reykjavik tour in March of 2019 and we still think about how amazing the experience was. Helga was very knowledgeable and drove us around telling us about the city. She also brought us to the Blue Lagoon and dropped us back off. It was easy, convenient and affordable. We would do every tour with her if we could! We can’t wait until we can come back to Iceland !!!
