Each year, horse enthusiasts hoof it to Louisville and Churchill Downs, the legendary home of the Kentucky Derby. In addition to equestrian endeavors and bluegrass roots, Louisville boasts a range of exciting attractions the whole family can enjoy. Stroll through Central Park, in the historic district, to people-watch and get a real feel for the city. Visit other nearby parks for hiking, biking and fossil finding. Baseball fans will love the Louisville Slugger Museum, a celebration of the sport's legends. The museum is easy to spot, just look for the humongous bat that leans against the building.

The Louisville Quest is a sight-seeing tour, scavenger hunt and race, all rolled into one. Teams compete to answer challenge questions, solve puzzles and race from location to location in the least amount of time… all for fun and discovering Louisville! Once you glimpse the sights, museums, shops and history of Louisville, you will want to see more. Several routes are available, including our popular Bourbon Quest!
I went into this thinking it was going to be another boring team building activity. Could not have been more wrong. Imagine the amazing race. Working as teams to figure out riddles to get your clue to the next stop on the map. Riddles were challenging enough to be fun while not being too hard that they were frustrating. Highly recommend.

A twisted tree at the corner of Sixth and Park in Old Louisville is a popular destination for history buffs and fans of the paranormal. According to legend, today's tree sprang up magically on the spot where a different tree once stood. That tree was the favored meeting spot for a coven of local witches. When the city chopped down their tree, their curse destroyed Louisville with a tornado.
I took an evening tour with David Domine. I loved learning the history tree and being able to see all the trinkets others have left behind.

This cemetery is for US veterans. As the picture shows, simple white headstones all alike lined up in perfect rows. It is a place of solitude and reflection.

Fourth Street Live! is Louisville's premier dining and entertainment destination, located in the heart of downtown Louisville, Kentucky. A short walk from historic downtown hotels, the Kentucky International Convention Center, Waterfront Park, the KFC YUM Center, Slugger Field, and much more, Fourth Street Live! offers something for everyone! *Individual business hours may vary.
Fourth Street Live is a collection of bars around a central courtyard. There are some fun distilleries, bars, and great restaurants. PBR is great for dancing and Howl at the Moon had a phenomenal Dueling Piano event on Saturday when we went! Definitely recommend going if you're in town over a weekend!!
