Another important figure in Kyrgyz history taking a prominent position in this part of Bishkek. The figure is depicted in traditional attire and standing (there is a equestrian statue of her in Osh) and carved very well. The statue is set in a very nice colourful surrounding befitting the person of Kurmanjan.

At the square is a big flag that is big an impressive a good addition to the place. Very nice for a good picture!

Standing in the middle of an excellent square with flowers and fountains and surrounded by arcades this is a beautiful monument to a local hero. Excellently done.

Kyrgyzstan hosts many statues of Manas, the national hero. But of all the ones we saw, this was our favorite.
