Ashiq Aswar is a superb tour guide! Him and Rizni took my family around on a tour of Colombo that included shopping and then a tour of the outskirts of a bee farm, spice gardens a private tour visiting and riding elephants. We had a great lunch in a clean and air-conditioned restaurant. The van was clean and comfortable. They picked us up and dropped us back. This trip was actually in the early part of last year in spring, but the calendar on Trip Advisor only goes back to summer of last year. They were very attentive, very caring and personable. I would highly recommend Ashiq and Kingfisher tours to anyone visiting Colombo, Sri Lanka ????????

We went to Sri Lanka for some culture after the Maldives. My beautiful wife's grandparents are originally from Jaffna, so that's where we headed to first. After a night in a newly constructed ancient hotel (yep!) in Anuradhapura (the hotel was actually quite good, colonial style bungalows in manicured grounds) we got to Jaffna. An interesting place and not touristy at all, yet. We then headed to Sigriya, as we'd both been up Sigriya rock previously our guide took us up a rock opposite. The stunning wife then metamorphosed into a hot, sweaty and cussing demon for the 40 minute ascent. Once summited calm and beauty were restored. We then headed back to Colombo for the last two nights, my wonderful wife treating me to two nights in the Galle Face hotel. There's a tiny beach and strip of land outside that seems to be the meeting point for all the locals, not full of tourist trap bars or restaurants, just locals living there life. This for me was beautiful, seeing them with three or four generations in the family just enjoying a walk, sit or local food stall and watching the sunset. This isn't going to last though, as all the big hotel chains are building on the opposite side of the road, it won't be long before the big chains then buy the strip of land for bars etc and push the locals of. During the trip our guide, Indika was invaluable and always on time. His car was always spotless, he was there whenever we needed him, and helped manhandle me and the beautiful up the rock in Sigriya. The man deserves 5/5 for that at least! A great trip with an outstanding driver.

We had a great safari and round tour with kalum and his team. First he picked up from Colombo airport and drove us to habarana. Afternoon we had a four hours safari tour with his cousin sameera and seen around 100+ elephant so close to the vehicle... We had really amazing time with kalum's team. Highly recommended Them as no 1 safari company and best travel partner around sri lanka. Your itinerary kalum sent us personaly before the tour and it was covered all the beautiful beaches and must see locations. Thanks again kalum and his team.
