Thursday October first, what better day to sit on the beach. Clean and well maintained, so glad to spend time here, watching the boats, little kids and gentle waves. Water was only 60 degrees so only my toes went in.

My wife and I stayed on the Cape for a week and I got to play this course. For a public course, I was pleasantly surprised. Only drawback is quite a few of the holes require blind shots and this causes somewhat slower play as you have no way to know when the group in front is located without riding ahead on the hills, etc. All in all a pretty nice course.

Scusset Beach State Reservation

Went for a late summer beach day with my 15 year old son. Didn’t want to drive too far and wanted to use my mass state park pass. After a little research decided to try this beach. So happy I did! You don’t have to go over the bridge so not sure if it’s technically on the Cape, but it’s nicer than some of the beaches over the bridge. The day was beautiful, the waves were pretty good, not much seaweed, clear water-not too cold. I loved the dunes and the jetty! There weren’t big crowds. Once you got past the initial entry from the boardwalk it really opened up so social distancing was not an issue. Great beach-we’ll be back!
