Private Island Charters

We like to think of our private charters as an upscale and personalized experience in a casual and laid back setting. Leave the crowds, lines and traffic behind and escape on a tour of our local paradise on your own private boat. We go out to the most beautiful islands that are just a few miles off our coast that you can only get to by boat. There are incredible white sand beaches, all sorts of great tropical shells, sand dollars, lots of wildlife, and beautiful calm turquoise water. All of our charters are private, so its only you and your group on the boat! Bring some lunch and some drinks and keep an eye out for Dolphins, Sea Turtles, and sometimes even Manatees! Relax on the beautiful beaches, and take in all the incredible sights. We even have a fresh water shower onboard for a refreshing rinse off after swimming! Great fun for kids and Adults and a special time together with your loved ones. Feel free to contact us with any special requests or questions, and please visit our facebook page for more info pics, videos, reviews etc. Hope to see you soon! Cheers, Captain Todd

The Innisbrook Resort is home to four golf courses, the most famous is the Copperhead course which is a regular PGA tour stop and home to the Valspar Golf Tournament. It is without question the Best golf course in the Tampa area. When the course is set up for a tournament, with signage, flags, hospitality tents, grandstands, food vendors and souvenir shops, the place looks amazing. I try to play the course a few days after the tournament while most of the signage, flags and tents are still up. It almost feels as if I'm in the tournament and hitting one of those clutch golf shots. I can picture the crowds, but my vision and skill set does not always allow for me to pull off the "Pro" shot. Playing here under Pro conditions is quite remarkable.   The Copperhead course is a golfers dream come true. Each hole has a different name, and like Augusta National with its "Amen" corner,  Copperhead has the Snake Pit! The Snake Pit are holes 15, 16, 17, and 18, with the last 3 holes being named after a poisonous viper. What makes Copperhead so special is its elevation changes, powdery deep sand traps, several large, well placed ponds, slippery, fast, undulating, tiered greens, and finally rough that is really rough, and also deep. You can easily lose a ball just 5 feet from the fairway so watch closely to where your ball lands. The trees on the course are mature and tall, but the woods are not thick. Finding your ball is relatively easy, but hitting out of the troubled area makes for 19th hole conversation and laughter.   The day I played Copperhead was hot (90 degrees), sunny, with a mild breeze. The course was in excellent condition and I was ready to handle this big snake. The course has 5 different tee boxes, with the championship tees playing over 7200 yards, with a slope rating of 75.9/142, while the women's tees are  4900 yards and a rating of 65.2/122. Based on my handicap I played the white tee which is 6243 yards, and rated at 71.1/137. Make no mistake about it, this viper is wicked. This course will separate the men from the boys with its force carries over water and several doglegs. There are a few blind shots, but check your GPS or yardage booklet to stay out of trouble. Now for the fun stuff.   The opening hole is eye candy for big dog hitters. This downhill, par 5 sets the tone for club selection, course management, and an honest evaluation of one's skill set. On the tee box you will notice a large fairway bunker on the left side of the fairway, a second bunker straight ahead and beyond the first bunker, and finally thick brush and trees running the full length of the hole on the right side. The fairway is moderately wide, so let the big dog play. My tee shot and second shot were in the fairway, however my approach shot ended up in the bunker that fronts the green. It was here that I had a Pro style sand save which landed one foot from the hole and was a tap in for par. After making par on the first two holes I was playing with no fear and thinking the snakes on this course must be non venomous. Well, hole 3 is where things got real and the poison of Copperhead started to affect my game. Hole 3 is titled Narrow Neck, and it's a signature par 4. On this hole you want to be long and favor the right side of the fairway without going into the water. Your 2nd shot will be a forced carry shot over water to a well protected green. A birdie on this hole is an automatic skin.    For me the other signature holes are 5, 12, and 13. Hole 12 is where you want to get a few pictures. It is also where the Hooters tent was during the tournament. Keep the camera out for hole 13. Its a peninsula green par 3. My personal favorite hole on the course is the par 5, hole 14. It must be seen to be fully understood. Copperhead is a must play for serious golfers and a well deserved treat for all others. The course has a very nice practice facility and a restaurant that's an epicurean's delight. Enjoy your round!
