Killington, at the heart of the Green Mountains, is a natural paradise all year round. During the winter, Killington is one of the world's largest and most diverse ski areas, with miles and miles of trails dedicated to downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. When the snow melts, Killington transforms into the home of two PGA golf courses, and spectacular hiking and biking trails through Northern sections of the Appalachian Trail.

Found Peak Performance online and decided to rent skis, boots and poles. I have my own skis that are about 20 years old or more that are slightly "tapered" and are 185's! Talking to people I decided that the new skis are much shorter and much easier to ski with. I booked the rental online and saved 15%. Even before the savings the two day rental here was less that the one day rental at the mountain!! The rentals are tuned and waxed after every rental return so you always get a set ready to go. The staff is phenomenal too. Everything was explained and all questions answered, never feeling rushed. This is the place to go if you want to rent skis at Killington. I will definitely use them again and tell my friends about them too!

So excited I found this shop. During pandemic I was dreading having to go through the rental process. First Stop offered rental delivery to our condo and it was so great! The convenience was amazing! For not much more than regular rental rate I rented premium demos and everything was brought right to me. Max provided excellent customer service. Will definitely use this mom and pop shop again. Highly recommended!

Went in late March (not February) with wife and kids. Was nervous to go in the spring due to warm weather but the trip turned out to be spectacular. Spring skiing is amazing. No crowds at all and the warm weather was a plus! I put the kids in with a ski instructor and never having had a formal lesson myself, Brad, our instructor, recommended I join. Not only did he up my game, he had my 2 novice kids skiing in intermediate level blue trails during the first day! I couldn’t believe it. The second day was even better. He was great. I call Brad the Bob Ross of ski instructors! He has patience, is a bit philosophical, great sense of humor, is just fantastic with kids, full of similes so the kids can understand, and he can immediately pick out incorrect technique and show you how to correct it. Brad- thanks a million! On our last day we skied as a family. And a family that skis together - stays together!

The fall is very pretty and definitely worth the trip if you are in the area. It is roughly a mile walk from the parking lot ... not a hike .
