This is one of China's most famous beaches. A great getaway from wintry weather. Nice hotels, eateries, and beach activities in the area.

It is not easy to go there, some roads are under construction. My hotel recommended to play this Mystic Course, which I found is a seriously difficult, challenging golf course with some phantastic view points. Not really for beginners, a few tee shots you must be straight and carry over 180 yards to just cross a canyon and reach the ladies' tee box... fairways were in excellent condition, greens kept very well. Bunkers are a bit basic and some rough is almost wilderness, which I feel is better than all is gardened thoroughly. My caddy was really good, an experienced golfer himself... But now to the negative: practically nobody spoke English, if you don't speak basic Chinese you'll just get lost here.
