I am a local fishing guide that has been fishing the Lower Laguna Madre since 1974. My passion to fish turned me into a passionate professional guide in 1986 when I got licensed by the USCG. When you fish with me my main goal is to have FUN while catching quality fish. I am a patient teacher and a low key coach for experienced anglers as well as small children. I have several small children of my own and know what Mom and Dad are usually looking for on a days fishing outing with their own precious children. Everything is provided: bait, tackle, ice, and drinking water. Anyone 17 or older will need at least a one day Texas fishing license. I have quality tackle and a flats boat that easily navigates the very shallow waters of the bay and also handles the near shore fishing challenges as well. We catch redfish, speckled trout, flounder, snook, kings, tarpon, mangrove snapper, and spanish mackeral as the seasonal runs provide them to us. If you and your family or buddies want to go on a FUN filled fishing trip, learn some new techniques, and get some local history of the area at the same time, I can provide those services while catching some great fish. We had a great horseback ride with Grace and Danielle. Danielle was a great guide, we loved getting to learn more about the area. Grace did a great job making our 9 year old comfortable on her first horseback ride on her own.

A lot of good things for an amazing price. After trying out for a couple days I decided to purchase a yearly deal. You have top of the line gym equipment, a lot of them and cardio too. You can run upstairs in their 1/4 mile run track field with air conditioner!!! All kind of classes like yoga, personal coaching, amazing indoor pools for kids and moms, basketball and volleyball fields, saloon what else?? You got everything in a single clean place with great staff.

Spend a day with Teri you’ll be rewarded in so many ways. Not only does she give you an excellent overview before going into the field; she also will spend extra time to help you get situated and will help identify your finds. We decided to go on two trips with her (Needle Peak and South Larremore Ranch). Both are very different terrain and offer different finds. Being a rock hound, I jumped at the chance to check out both of these private lands. Our three year old daughter, who also loves rocks in general, had a great time as well. Teri went out of her way to make sure she had fun and found some great treasures. If you want to add a different kind of excursion to your Big Bend trip, definitely check out Teri’s website to see when her next trip will take place.
