Rogles Aventura

We did 2 great family day trips with Rogles during our recent family holiday to Salou. 1st a cycle along the Greenway disused railway track which had fantastic views through the mountains and stunning scenery all along the route including numerous tunnels along the way. Raul and the team drop you at the start point with the bikes/helmets and after a quick guide on the route you a free to head off at leisure and meet the van at the end point after about 3 hours, where you will be returned to your car. The bikes were all in great condition and the track you cycle along is well maintained and downhill all the way :-) Along the route there are some great stopping points including Bot where at the old station there is a converted carriage which serves much needed snacks and drinks, and a lovely stream to have a paddle when the going gets too hot. We finished the trip at Benifallet station where there is also a cafe. The 2nd trip was Kayak on the river Ebro from Móra to Miravet. Here you will meet the team and the Kayak's at the river in Mora where you will start slowing paddling downstream towards the destination on Miravet. Beautiful scenery along route with the destination at Miravet having some smalls cafes to refresh before you are taken back to your cars. All in all a couple of great days out with the communications from the Rogles team perfect to ensure you know where and when to meet the guides. For anyone holidaying in the Costa Daurada area you would need a car to get the the tour stating points which for our trips was about a 40 minute drive into the hills from Salou. Highly recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. Right on the main square with lots of restaurants and bars around it, and just right outside the old town. We ate in the hotel one of the nights we were there and also breakfast every morning. Food was lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
