10 Nightlife in Conde Duque That You Shouldn't Miss

March 2, 2022 Moriah Teneyck

So many of Madrid’s buildings look like castles, you’ll think you’ve stumbled into a fairytale. Even City Hall is astounding, with its white pinnacles and neo-Gothic features. A self-guided architecture tour can begin by the great bear statue in the central Puerta del Sol. Wander by the fanciful Royal Palace before absorbing the natural beauty of Retiro Park, then visit one of the city’s many museums. You could happily cap off each day by nibbling on forkfuls of paella while sipping Spanish rioja.

This is a fantastic wine bar with friendly service, very knowledgeable, and a great mix of a crowd. We stayed here so much longer than we thought we would because we were really enjoying the company and especially the wine. They also have some amazing looking food; will come back to eat soon. Brilliant!!

Cafe La Palma

19 years of history, and Cafe la Palma is one of the most dynamic music venues in Madrid, and a pioneer in the introduction of "first drink" concept. We are placed in Madrid's downtown. Our philosophy is escape from any conventionalism, getting from Cafe la Palma a multi-dimensional place, a labyrinth full of amazing novelties. Cafe la Palma is for sure the best place for leisure and culture, to find all kind of surprises, in a constant process of change, adaptable to your mood. Only decide where to sit, and have some joy. You can sit and have a chat with your friends, with some cups of delicious coffee; enjoy evocative oriental beats an irresistible cocktails in the arab tent; or join into a concert with amazing Madrid's underground bands, or well known pop musicians; or going mad with our dance floor, with best Madrid DJs. We provide a complete variety of services of entertaiment. And our staff is kind, efficient and professional. The dance floor, and concerts hall is for sure the core of Cafe la Palma. We proudly feel like a meeting point for curious, dynamic people. Like our customers, we are sophisticated and opened. All "tribes", all generations are welcome to feed and feel the magic of Cafe la Palma. About live music, our sound is one of the best in Madrid. In our scenario have played Dominique A, Jay Jay Johanson, Amaral, Addictive TV, Kenny Larkin, Ursula 1000, Programme, Mani (Primal Scream), The Gift, Amparanoia, Mala Rodriguez, Cycle, Josele Santiago, The Exception, The Coronas, Sex Museum, Vetusta Morla, Chojin Laziness Izal, Alamedadosoulna, La Bien Querida o Lichis and Goat Mechanics. After live performances, you can enjoy DJ sets with Electronics, Deep, Nu Disco, New Wave, Electro, Minimal, Tech-House and Techno, as well as indofunk, acid- jazz, funk, brazilian & afrocaribbean oriental beats and grooves. But is not only about quality and variety of our music. We are also into many activities, like paints and pictures exhibitions, movie projections and theather. Even our tables are stunning creations of the artistic collective Khrudo. In conclusion, Cafe la Palma is a place in constant change, a essencial reference of Madrid cultural scene.
