One of my favourite market in London Saturday in Portobello market, perfect weather for it. Sunny & cold.. so nice to hear so many different language .. nice little antique shops, unusual clothes shop & awesome coffee shop..

Well worth investing a day visiting Greenwich;there is much to see; The former Naval College with it's exquisite architecture and design with so much historical content to the Cutty Sark a beautifully preserved Clipper ship from a byegone age. Why not round off the day with a visit to Greenwich Observatory,the "home of time".

A lot of your experience will depend on weather conditions, the season, and expectations of what a park in London ought to be. Having said that, my parents were visiting me in Spring (2019) from the US and were looking for flowers in bloom. The main parks (Hyde, St James and Green) were already past bloom. We were staying in Kensington, and on our last day we decided to walk over to Holland Park via seeing the Burges Tower House. The Park definitely has a more local feel and less of a tourist-centred one. It is a nice place for walking, jogging, and even meditating. We were very fortunate since the tulips were in full bloom -- brilliant colours. The friendly peacock was a wonderful surprise as was the Kyoto Garden. Japanese gardens can tend to be over-decorated and landscaped, but the Kyoto Garden was nicely designed and well maintained. Not gimmicky. In short, Holland Park capped a wonderful visit for my parents, and with the Design Museum just next to the Park, it makes for an uncrowded venue that ought to be high on the list of places to visit in London.

When in Edinburgh you must visit The Old Town, .. See the Old Tenement Buildings.. Feel the History of this old Historical Town, with its cobbled streets....Take a walk along the Royal Mile, from the Castle to Holyrood Palace.. You can easily feel what it must've been like living in "Auld Reekie" centuries ago.. and hearing the words being shouted from the tenement windows "Gardy Loo" ..the warning that Waste was going to be thrown out the window...Visit Grassmarket.. and the weekend Farmers Markets... If you looking for souvenirs to take home you will definitely find them here, from the array of shops to choose from,.. if your looking for Cashmere, Whisky., Tablet or some nice Edinburgh Rock..You will find it all in the Old Town and much more.

This is like going back in time. You wouldn't think you were in Aberdeen. The houses are like little cottages, and just by the sea, and the people who live in them get a great view of Aberdeen beach and the sea, and wild Dolphins putting on a show. Very quaint homes with a lovely Nautical appeal to them. Very quiet too, but expensive to buy.

It is a mile walk from East Brighton Pier to the Marina where you will find shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a huge Asda there. The walk is along the coastline so you can see the sea, watch the Volks Electric Railway in action, or you can walk along the top road which also has great views.

Unlike walking through the high streets for window shopping, this area provides visitors more fun as shops are close and lanes are narrow only one person can pass through at a time in many occasions, so the excitement is high. It's not a small maze to most unless you are familiar with each lane and corner by identifying the shops and benchmarks. Without visiting The Lanes, your trip to Brighton is not complete.
