Greeley is in northern Colorado and is situated 49 miles (79 km) north-northeast of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. fairly flat so if you are biking with poor knees this could work for you - mostly near the water - we lived here for 45 years and had little idea the interesting scenery and views were right under our noses. we have been walking chunks of it - in fall and spring and early morning during cooler weather as not always a shaded route and we don't like hot walking- but we've seen turtles herons foxes eagles and we still need to walk more into the Windsor area yet. looking forward to that. Its exercise and fresh air - how could it not be good

Lovely trees providing a pretty, shaded walk in the heat of the September day. Some lovely properties around to admire. Just a really nice place to take a stroll, sit by the lake and watch the birds and squirrels. Visited with a local who said it gets very busy at peak times, so is probably less relaxing then!
