It was great!! Loved the joeys and the birds, all of them are super cute! Lil birdie did some dancing too!!! They’re all rescued animals and the roos that aren’t fully capable to stay in the wild stays with them. More than 90% of the rescued roos goes back to the wild so they definitely need all the help they can get to raise these poor roos whose parents were killed in an accident. Remember to get a pack of food for them when you get in - they aren’t expensive and it’s fun too. Frodo is the largest marsupial which is a red kangaroo and Veronica is a wallaroo.

If your in Geraldton or Dongara, put it on the list of things to do, Also has a great free camp site , we went end of wild flower season, still worth the trip even without the wild flowers, easy drive around ,don’t need 4x4, some red dirt road, so car is going to get dusty ????

Tarcoola Beach

Reviewed By stefano523 - Geraldton, Australia

Long, sandy beach a few kms south of city centre. Lovely clean water. Small waves good for body surfing or boogie boarding. Easy to find your own piece of paradise. Strongly suggest you go in the morning before the sea breeze comes in.
