The name fahr(T)raum pays homage to Ferdinand Porsche, the pioneer of the Austrian automotive industry, his team and their prominent role they played in the development of mobility. The world of adventure in Mattsee combines innovation, experience and contemporary history and serves at the same time as a space full of history and stories that focus on extraordinary exhibits between nostalgia and technological progress with interactive media. This amazing 11th-century castle overlooks Salzburg from a hill on the outskirts of the city. Fortress Hohensalzburg is a real eye-catcher, high above the Baroque towers of the city. The Salzburg Open-air Museum in Grossgmain is located on the outskirts of Salzburg in the heart of an enchanting natural landscape. With the historic museum´s narrow-gauge railway you experience a marvellous ride through the 50 hectars of grounds. Red Bull Hangar-7 Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport is a unique building which houses the historical Flying Bulls aircraft fleet and a collection of Formula 1 race cars. Hangar-7 also offers space for art exhibitions. And with its Restaurant Ikarus, two bars, an Outdoor Lounge and one café, it is not just an events location, but a meeting point for art lovers and bons vivants, too.

Centuries ago, the sundial above the Mauterndorf castle gate greeted merchants, scoundrels and travelers on their way through the Lungau region. The portal where passing traders once heard the words: “Open your bag and pay the toll” is now the gate leading visitors right back to Middle Ages.
