We had an absolutely wonderful time on the all-day "Doi Suthep & Inthanon National Park Day Tour". Our guide, Maggie, could not have been nicer. She was genuinely excited to share her knowledge and love of Thai culture, history, and religion as we visited the beautiful temples and nature sites on the tour. And she's a great photographer to boot--she knew exactly where to set up the best Instagram-ready shots, if that's your bag. The van was quiet, comfortable and air-conditioned and our driver Ut navigated the sometimes windy roads without raising my pulse rate. The tour included a hearty, delicious Thai lunch in a lovely local restaurant at the foot of the Inthanon hills. Even though I had to catch the overnight train to Bangkok right at the time the tour was due to end, Maggie made sure that we were able to see everything without ever making us feel rushed. We had plenty of time for relaxing, souvenir hunting, and sipping delicious northern Thai coffee. We're already planning a return visit to go on one of her hiking tours!

It's been almost a year that I've spent a several days in Chiang May, as a solo female traveler. I found Joe on internet and every day we went on some trip. I write this review to say it is a good choice to go with Joe as he is knowledgeable ,good English speaking, punctual and polite.I can truly recommend him. I loved this trip so much! Our group of four women spent three full days driving through the Doi Inthanon National Park area, and I can't imagine a better way to see this beautiful part of the country than this trip. We all agreed that we were happiest when we were driving or riding along in our tuk tuks, but another highlight for me was the beautiful hike on our last day through waterfalls, rice fields, and a cute village. The campsite on the first night was comfortable and the tents were clean, and our host Ken made a delicious meal over the campfire. Bruce and Yaya were the perfect guides, and I really enjoyed getting to know them through the whole trip. We stopped at unique places that we never would have found on our own, and even got to drive through a brand new stretch of the road that was completely empty (and beautiful). I can't recommend this trip more!

The dinner cruise was simply amazing. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. It was one of those nights when I felt so grateful for being in Bangkok. We had two excellent crew members Khun First and Khun View who took care of us, including taking amazing pictures. Highly recommend!

This private tour was excellent! We got a thorough history of the locality. The walking was pleasant and not difficult. There were a couple tricky spots and stairs that may be difficult for some travelers, but there are railings and our guide was ready to assist at any moment. Would definitely recommend. It was worth the extra for a private tour because we could choose how much time we spent at each location without worry. (We actually went in January 2020 but I forgot to leave a review)

Our tour was with Travel China Guide. It was well organized, everyone spoke very good English, the food was great, visited lots of places and we had a great time. Our tour was in May so it was rather hot but not as many tourists and crowds to deal with. We had six of us on a private tour and that is the only way to go. It is so nice to travel in a small group. Since we had a small group we could adjust the schedule when the weather was to hot, especially the first few days. We went from Alberta, Canada with 15 C to Bangkok 35 C and high humidity. It took us a few days to adjust. This is our second trip with Travel China Guide, we also did China two years ago on a Small Group Tour. Both trips were amazing and I would recommend Travel China Guide for any trips to Asia.
