Still stuck in my memory of my first ascent in Central Java, I arrived at the summit of Mount Prau on that day to enjoy the sunset, the red sky turned orange and then turned bluish and then darkened, close my tiring day. And when I wake up in the morning, I deliberately hunt the sunrise and watch the black sky turn purple, the best moment is when the sun starts to rise slowly, Java Island is very exotic.

The best place to visit in the Dieng area. A nice and steep path makes it easy to capture every step at this location. Incredible views from the top of the hill, visible Kawah Sikidang and a Telaga Warna that make a wonderful photo background.

Went up to mount Andong. Although it is not that high only 1731 mdpl but the hike was quite steep although easy. A good test for newbies. It will take around one to two hours hike, depending on how fast you walk. If you are planning to see the sunrise, the best time to start hiking is around 3:30 ish in the morning. You can only see the sunset from Andong. If you wish to see both then you can camp there. The view is amazing. You can see several mountains such as Merapi, Merbabu, Telomoyo, Sindoro, Sumbing and other mountains. I would recommend to go there during weekdays as there won't be that many people unlike during the weekends. Be prepared that many people smoke a lot (because for them it is to kill the cold). But apart from that, you will find the hike is worth it and the view is amazing.

Mt. Sikunir is sunrise view point where located at sembungan village - no public transport if we want to go to this place ,best time to depart from your homestay if your homestay around dieng plateu is at 03:00 AM , will reach in 20 minute ,passing the dark road without any lamp ,so you must be careful if you ride your own motorbike ,we'll see the light at the end of road and parking park. we can park our vehicle around the entrance and parking park. Afterward we do trekking up for 45 minute, prepare a warm jacket because the wind will be so cold.
