Great value for money!
Reviewed By stormy000Stayed here yesterday for a bargain price! The two members of staff behind the bar were really lovely and friendly! And made fantastic drinks. Rooms were immaculate! Shower is powerful. Would definitely stay again! Only thing I didn’t like - was the toilet was on the bottom floor, meaning you would have a drink and then have to take a lift downstairs to go toilet. Other than that, I think it was fantastic.

Located at only 3 km from the center of Lugano, the Hotel Vezia opened in 1956 and has been renovated while keeping its soul of the "Fabulous 50s". Each of the 50 rooms have been decorated in a unique way, taking inspiration from the '50s movies and stars, many of them are connected to a private garage. Every evening local and American specialties are served in the rounded shape restaurant. Not to be missed are the subtropical garden with pool and bar. Rooms are big enough and cleaned daily. Food is very good for the price. Good personal and service. Tip. Ask for Ticino ticket Pass to save on train and other tourist attraction fees.

Reviewed By pjbuddyIf you are skiing in Saalbach, this is the place to stay. I've lost count. I think we've stayed here about 12 times, we did try a different hotel one year just to mix it up but that was a bad move. We've also skied in other resorts but it's just not the same level of quality as The Alpinresort at Saalbach. Impeccable service from all staff. Excellent rooms, food and facilities. Thanks to Alan and Michael for looking after us again this year. Glad to see the new furry friendly face Lucy as we have missed Chico these past few years. Boss says the boot room is being moved to the ground floor as part of some renovations, hopefully for next season. To Alpinresort, it is very warm, save some money and turn the heating down! We'll be back this summer for our first mountain biking holiday. The Wright family.

Reviewed By Janko ČExterior of hotel was nice, view from the room was also nice. Parking was big. The problem was the room itself - old furniture, old table, old TV. It would not bother me so much but there was also this stale smell in the room that comes from old furniture and dust. Room was cold, there was AC unit inside but heating it with AC would only worsen the smell and dustiness. Bathroom was to say decent. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was OK at best - some croissant from supermarket and some supermarket cake - I missed some "proper" food - cheesse, salamies, ham, eggs. Breakfast hall was also without stuff present, they offered us coffee 15 minutes already into breakfast. Dinner was good, I liked it. House wine was also nice. The best part of the stay was actually dinner. Stuff was not very frendlly or helpfull. Did not speak English and did not want to help us with invoice - the price was OK but we needed invoice made in a different way which they make us in all other Italian, except here, hotels without problem durring few minutes.

Finally we did choose Das Royal accommodation as the price offer and close location to the ski infrastructure was present. Our stay at the Hotel Das Royal has been extra-ordinary well. Magnificent large and modern rooms with view evening sunset and mountains, great covered parking in the garage for our vehicle, excellent kitchen and good food, complete wellness offer (swimming pool, sauna), professional reception desk no question hard enough to get responded right away.. really top-classs level in all possible ways. Most of all however we appreciated the most the very warm Family approach by the hotel owners (Wiendenhofer ladies), the kitchen- and bar staff, and many other poeple working hard behind the scenes to please the visitors 24/24 7days a week. The Motel-Restaurant 13 Etoiles is well located between Sion and Sierre, in Valais. We are in the charming place of St-Léonard, a little village in the heart of the vineyards and the meadows. From here, you are very close to various hiking paths in summer and from the most important sport and ski resorts in winter. Several activities for families are proposed in the area and very close from the Motel and Restaurant.

If you are sensitive not only to the food on your plate, but also about the way they are brought to you, you will find there flavorous food and friendly welcome. And I see it coming, that evening when I will be unable to escape the gravity of their bar... I will then be back to comment on the rooms!

Nice hotel
Reviewed By Anke HWe stayed here for one night when we visited our friends. It is a very nice hotel with nice rooms. And a good bed. However it was quite warm and the airconditioning didn't seem to work. And there were people on terrace who were talking quite loud. That was a shame because the hotel itself was really nice
