We booked the family room for extra space and was delighted with the size and layout of the room/s. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the kitchenette well stocked, the towels were a very high quality and the area was very clean and inviting. To top it off a beautiful full cooked breakfast was delivered to our door. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

We made use of the very well equipped covered bbq area as it was raining our last 2 days. easy walk into town with plenty of choice for eateries. John was thoughtful enough to message me with room number, left the door unlocked and even turned on the heater so that we would have a warm room on arrival. The room itself is cosy, comfortable, clean and has everything you need for an overnight stay which suited us just fine. Value for money. Reviewed By claracU2449WSWe stayed one night and rented two rooms for four people. The beds were very comfortable and rooms well equipped. We were greeted next morning with fantastic views and lovely parrots and native birds. A very restful stay after a long hike up Mt Bogong. There is a bar on site but we came in late (after 7.30pm) and it was closed. I forgetfully left a jacket there and the owner was very helpful and posted it back to us pronto. Much appreciated. Definitely will visit again.

Reviewed By wendylrobertsonWe stayed at the Mansfield Valley Motor Inn and were pleasantly surprised. The man at check in was very friendly and professional and the room was spotless. There were extra towels and even a fully stocked mini bar! Outside there was a lovely little courtyard area with a table and, once again, it was very tidy and well maintained. It was only a short walk into town. We are often in the area and will definitely stay again. Very impressed!

What happened to the great atmosphere?
Reviewed By N60STsusancDropped into the Snowline Friday night on my way up the hill as I’ve done for years now. I walked in and it looked like everyone had just been to a funeral. No music and no atmosphere. Not many locals either. Had a chat to one of the locals that I knew to get an update on Hotham and the road. Tried to have a chat and it was hard to hear with both TV’s blaring with the footy. We had to step outside to hear properly. Hopefully this was just a once off and when I return it’s back to the vibrant pub it was.

The room was larger than we expected, and came with a sofa, table with two chairs, and a really good area to put our luggage in - something most motels lack. The bathroom was really clean and looked new. It was also good to find enough space to put a large toiletry bag, and a hook for hanging clothes on. There was a microwave in our room, but sadly no plates or cutlery to make using it practical.
