The only downside is that breakfast was not available due to covid, I did not notice this being mentioned online when I booked.

Reviewed By FS2704I stayed at the Atrium on Ulster on a business trip and would highly recommend, room was clean and spacious. Good car parking and nice and peaceful at night. Room have air con and sky channels. It was a pleasant surprise to also find an electric blanket on the bed to take off the winter chill. Hosts were polite and courteous.

Reviewed By Lubee17My workmates and i stayed there for three nights. Beautiful rooms lovely hosts. Would recommend to all. It is close to the hospital, easy to find. Close to shops. If you want peace and quiet this is the place. We didnt have to pay but did ask. The prices are reasonable.

Visit our beautiful gardens or enjoy a stroll around the lake. The 16 beautifully appointed apartment style rooms all with king and superking beds -(can be split into two singles). Sky Guest select with 50 channels plus in everyroom. Full kitchens. Double showers some with twin heads.Spa Baths, heat pump/air-conditioning in everyroom, Ultra fast broadband, wifi, guest laundry. Continental and cooked breakfasts available, with Gluten free options. Plenty of parking.
Not a fabulous experience
Reviewed By robbud62This was the most expensive motel we stayed in on our holiday and the worst. We had a one bedroom and a single in the lounge both comfortable. The roller blind in the bedroom did not fit right over the window so bright light from outside came in both sides and there was no curtain on the back door and as it shone straight into the kitchen lounge area the single bed space was very light. The kitchen was very small and all cups etc on a high shelf we had difficulty reaching. The microwave was above the sink at face height so often banged our head as we tried to do dishes. The bathroom shower was great but bathroom extremely small and no where to put anything, toilet shower vanity all in together which is fine but you had to shut the door to even open the shower or get to the toilet was very squashed. Also long black hair on the floor in bathroom and we are both fair! yuk. They had no where comfortable for 2 people to sit and was quite noisy by the road. Says on website about a cafe but we didn't see one and it wasn't mentioned by owner and we were there 2 nights. Overall not a great experience sadly .

An old school holiday park with a great vibe
Reviewed By jericho2015this is an old school-style holiday park with a great vibe. From the super-friendly and helpful hosts through to the fastidiously clean and organised facilities with generous extras such as detergent and oven gloves in the kitchen, herbs to pick for cooking, and the wonderful pool area. We used the hot pools twice a day. It is straight up honest and unpretentious, and I'm very happy we found it.

The Stadium Motel is a centrally located, modern hospitality complex. The unique tranquility of being situated across the road from a picturesque tree-lined council park and reserve provides a very quiet and peaceful environment for all guests. This prime location allows for easy access (walking distance) to the CBD of Hamilton and many of the city’s sporting and theatrical clubs. Less than 50 metres from the gates to Waikato Stadium, 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarkets and restaurants, and less than 10 minutes walk to the CBD makes this quiet complex ideally located to base yourself from for all activities whether business or pleasure. It is also only a short drive to the Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton Gardens, The Base Shopping Complex or Westfield’s Chartwell Mall. Hamilton Airport is a 20 minutes' drive and Hobbit is 45 minutes.
Grubby, scruffy and disappointing
Reviewed By Flyingkiwiki1010We were in Hamilton for a week on business and stayed at the Stadium Motel, in one of three 2 bedroom duplex apartments located adjacent to the main accommodation wing. Lets start with the positives: Our host was a lovely lady who was very pleasant. The motel is not used for MSD emergency housing and our unit had quite new TV's in both bedrooms and a very large TV in the living area with good picture quality. And now for the negatives: Our apartment was tired, uncared for and worse, it was not clean. Stadium Motel is a very standard type of lodging that was probably built about 20 years ago, and since then has apparently enjoyed little maintenance and no refurbishment. Many of the fixtures and furnishings are stained, dented, broken or just old and tatty. But it was the lack of cleanliness that was most concerning. Crusty food splatters in the microwave and on a dinnerplate, dirty windows and walls, dusty grime covered appliances and surfaces, and curtains hanging off the rails were some of the faults that quite obviously have gone unattended for months or years. Much of this could be easily rectified with a scheduled maintenance and cleaning program, which I did bring to the attention of our lovely host. Stadium Motel may never be the destination for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, but it should be an okay place to stay, which sadly at the moment it's not. Instead it was a rather depressing place to be.

Great motel
Reviewed By JASH09This was one of the cleanest and most modern BVM’s we stayed in. The staff were all very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. It is a good 20min walk into the town. The only downside (not the motel’s fault) was some loud neighbours drinking outside their rooms but this was only on one night.
