Reviewed By belalgoudaWe stayed in Argostoli Hotel for 9 days. We had a great time. Clean hotel, clean rooms, good furniture. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was very convenient in terms of location, literally few minutes walk from the harbor and from the busy streets and the square where all the markets, restaurants and bars are found. Everything is nearby, and it's only a 5 minute drive/taxi to the beach. I totally recommend it especially for families.

Reviewed By feliceaa2020It was a different summer this year,but we make the most of it,great acomodation,very good breakfast,special thanks to the owners Anastasia and Dimitrios.Also,nice sandy beach,warm sea water,very nice restaurants and terases,good food,good local wine all in one everything you need for a good holiday. We definetely recommend this island and especially this village as a very good and relaxing escape.

Reviewed By ShoosieLou19I travelled here on my own in May and straight away Alex and Costa were warm and welcoming. I had a great week staying here and the view is fantastic. The only thing is that because I didn't drive it was a bit out of the way for me but I still managed to make it work and that's my own fault because I didn't look into it enough beforehand. Mouikis do however offer a shuttle service to Argostoli so that's always worth a look. It was just all round lovely holiday.

With lovely views and a pretty setting just above Assos' square and harbor, our recently renovated modern and fresh pension is just the place to enjoy the famous pleasures of Greece. All rooms have balconies which afford splendid sea views and are furnished and decorated in a simple and modernif style. A wonderfully relaxed and pleasantly bohemian atmosphere pervades the terrace, another lovely spot from which to appreciate the view of the village and the bay spread out before you,where the owners have built a lovely swimming pool here as a finishing touch.

Reviewed By Antonia7654We loved this quirky arty room with fun furniture but most of all the views of three aspects of Assos harbour with a lovely private balcony with comfy seating. A beautiful room . Fun little steps ( or you can walk round by road 2 mins) to all the restaurants and small stony beach. Or walk up in the pine forest to castle for sunset. Lovely quiet v Greek village.

Reviewed By RIKKEEMILIE75We had a pleasant stay in this very speciel place. It’s a house with a lot of charm with a great view. The house appeared clean and the garden/pool area is like a little oase. We stayed for 2 nights, but we could easily have stayed for longer. The family made us feel very welcome and included. Because there was no dinner included in our stay, they went to the nearest diner to get us food. We cannot thank them enough for the gesture. I will recommend everyone to visit this wonderful place.

Reviewed By 364ingalWe stayed here for 7 days and had a great experience because staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Very good location as it takes up to 10 minutes to walk to center of the town. Also small sandy beach and a few small beach bars are within 5 minutes of walking from this hotel. Room was a bit tiny but very clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The most picturesque place in all of Greece
Reviewed By andyaP5448KQOnce again my wife and I returned to the Menes Hotel. Two years later no thanks to COID 19; we where well received by Panagotis one of the owners who had a room arranged facing the pool. The hotel isn’t 5 star but is quite new and immaculately cleaned. The hotel is family run by Panagotis and Nicos, they have nephews and nieces all working there, Mikey and Lazerath running the restaurant and bar both really genuine and kind people. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful bay “Desemi, from the hotel grounds to the beach it cannot be more than 5m, the beach is made up of sand and shingle and the water is Chrystal clear (perfect for swimming and snorkelling). The rooms are cleaned every day and the maid is very thorough, they are so cool and fresh when you arrive after a a hot day around the pool or the beach. The restaurant for breakfast is just outside the hotel shop and does a set breakfast that is very filling, fresh yogurt with honey, fruit bread, jam,Ham and cheese. The restaurant has a good variety, we took advantage of the daily specials, try the home made starter tzatziki, delicious. Hopefully we can return next year καληνυχτα
