I loved everything about Escuela Falcon. The teachers are patient, kind, clear and knowledgable. I was only there for a week (20 hours at 4 hours a day) but I learnt so much and am so much more confident now. My Spanish is still basic but I can have conversations now and ask important questions as I continue my travels through Mexico. I was taught my Mauricio, Ivonne, Camila and Ricardo. They were all great but very different in their teaching styles. This combination worked really well though for me, as I got a good balance and got to hear lots of different accents. I would highly recommend this school (there are also tons of fun social activities organised that help the community to bond), and hope to visit again in the future!

I have attended almost all of the Spanish schools in Guanajuato over the past 10 years of coming to Guanajuato and really think Escuela Mexicana is the best one!!! My husband and I attended group classes for 3 weeks and really advanced a lot in our Spanish. The teachers were really excellent and class sizes were small. We were there for Dia De Los Muertos and Escuela Mexicana taught us how to make an altar along with all of its meaning.. including putting up photos of my deceased parents. We also made a tapete (made from colored sawdust) of the famous Diego mural. There were lots of other interesting activities all the time. But the best was learning Espanol.

Ritmo y Sabor Salsa & Tango Lessons

Fernando Luna is a most excellent dance teacher and I’ve studied with quite a few over the years. I highly recommend him to beginners and advanced students. His wonderful friendly personality, fluent English (when I miss something in Spanish), amazing skill and talent as a teacher as well as being an impeccable dancer (tango, salsa, merengue, son cubano , bachata, you name it!) are all combined to create a very fun learning experience. Fernando is so supportive and patient as I learn. I really could not ask for more. I look forward to every lesson with great joy.

I just returned from 2 weeks in Guanajuato attending 4 hours of classes a day at La Hacienda and exploring the city. The staff there is very knowledgeable, welcoming, and accommodating! As an intermediate to advanced student I learned new aspects and intricacies of grammar as well as enjoying opportunities for stimulating conversation and vocabulary expansion, thanks to my teachers, Luis and Mariana. The school also arranged a pleasant homestay and offered tips for touring the very vibrant city of Guanajuato. Wish we could have stayed longer!
