A comfort stay with a great pool
Reviewed By AngeliqueHollandWe really enjoyed staying here and even booked a night extra. The room is comfy and clean. The swimming pool was very nice. One of the woman at the desk didn't talk english but she still managed to explain where we could find some restaurant. Since it was off season there weren't so many restaurants open in Zahora, but there was still enough to find. We had a car and went to Cadiz and Gibraltar. And also went to Conil and Vejer de la Frontera, which were beautiful white villages where we had lunch and diner. The beaches in Zahora and the next villages were very nice and beautiful. Overall a great place to stay to visit cities in the neighbourhood.

Reviewed By Julian WThis was an unexpected gem of a place. Having just spent a day and a night at the Feria in Seville, we were in need of somewhere to chill, and this is definitely it. The staff were lovely - welcoming, helpful and relaxed. We spent 2 nights here at the beginning of May 2017. We arrived too late to look around at other restaurants and just booked a table at the hotel to eat and went for a walk to the beach, about 13 minutes away. Very long sandy beach with some good waves, but not too windy. The Cape Trafalgar lighthouse is at the southern end of the beach. Dinner surpassed all our expectations for a restaurant in a small seaside town (Zahora). We had Chicken fingers in a Romesco sauce and Pear and Gorgonzola salad for starters. The chicken fingers come in a crisp batter, served in a newspaper cone like chips. Good sized portions too, and piping hot. The Pear and Gorgonzola looked a huge starter, but was very light and delicious. For main courses, we had Suckling Pig (in the shape of an) Ingot and Tuna Steak with Thai-style veg, soy and sesame. The tuna was seared and red in the middle, perfect for me. My wife really enjoyed the tender pork, caramelised onion, quince paste and crackling. The wines were pretty good too, not expensive at all and the waiter happy to make recommendations. I found the service just right - no hovering waiters trying to top up your glass at every opportununity. Helpful and knowledgeable, and indulgent of my hesitant attempts at Spanish. The rooms are light and airy and everything just seems to work as you would expect. Only complaint was the lack of a hairdryer. The showers are particularly good, with massage jets and a large rainforest shower head. Spotlessly clean. The following night we also dined in - this time Sierra de Grazalema goat's cheese salad for me and Falafels for my wife. Both were yummy, and again, huge portions. Could easily have been shared between us, had we known. The burger made from local beef was not available, so I went for Steak Frites rib-eye steak. My wife had Canelloni. Steak came back a little on the rare side of the requested medium, but it was quickly put right and tasted succulent. Only two chips is a little on the mean side though. Breakfast was an adventure, there being no menu and our Spanish not that great. Nice enough though, and not too expensive. Checkout was easy and without problems, and talking to the guy who checked us out, we again got the impression that this is really a very chilled-out place to stay. Would happily go back there another time and would recommend to others wholeheartedly.

The apartments have all the amenities that you need to spend there a few days or more! Nice pool and shared area as well as rooftop where you can enjoy the sunset! Nice beaches and places to eat and relax on the towns around! In love with this place!

What you see is not what you get
Reviewed By laurence83119We were very disappointed when we arrived. The rooms and the hotel in general have nothing to do with the photos. In reality it is not cute, it is flimsy and dingy. The decoration is cheap and worn out. The bar is dark and not welcoming. The garden wasn't looked after and nothing worked correctly (keys, wifi...). To sum it all up we wouldn't recommend it unless it were during high season and you gave high importance to its location, and most of all if you don't mind paying the price of a much better hotel.

Enclosed pool and enclosed, grassed, BBQ area - perfectly safe for families with small children. Nearest beach is very safe for children and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. There is a small playroom for and some swings etc for small children

Reviewed By Figaredo VHice la reserva para dos pero luego comuniqué que seríamos 4 y dos perritos pequeñas. Me cobraron aparte 20 euros por persona y noche más 8 euros por perro y noche. Me dieron un apartamento de 1 habitación. El sitio está bien y tiene amplias zonas verdes y barbacoas. Los encargados son maravillosos. Todo sería mejor si los dueños pusieran un poco de su parte. Hablé con la dueña por telefono y me remitió inmediatamente y con despotismo a Diego el encargado sin dejarme hablar. Hay también un cuarto de lavado y planchado que funciona con monedas

Reviewed By PD GBuena ubicación, cerca de la playa y muy bien equipado. Lo único "malo" es que la plancha estaba rota y no había productos de limpieza. Por lo demás genial. Volveremos sin duda cuando volvamos por Zahora.

Reviewed By 556mercemA pesar de la situacion actual del covid la limpieza deja mucho que desear, los baños tanto lavabo como vater y ducha lleno de pelos y sucios. La cocina no tiene nada para guardar la comida. Unica opcion dejarla fuera y que se llene de hormigas. El figorifico muy pewueño y no enfria nada. Las camas y sofá muy incomodos, los colchones muy hundidos. Las horas d descanso no se respetan. Tuvieron que venir a mirar la tv que no encendia y entraron dos personas sin mascarilla. No lo recomiendo.
