Reviewed By donandkeoReception were fine but not great. The rooms were clean and of reasonable size. The air conditioning was not very effective. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom OK. Breakfast was fine, if you were fast enough to get what you wanted before it disappeared, without bing replaced. Overall we were satisfied but not greatly impressed.

Reviewed By tokleybrownDavid and Sakhone are great hosts. We felt very welcome. Our group of eight enjoyed the generous breakfast and dinner. The guided tours were tailored to our needs. The rooms are simple and comfortable. We were collected from the airport and David also dropped us off to various places as well as collecting us after a night out in town. Lovely service.

Perfect for a short stay!
Reviewed By ShaliniwimalStayed here for 2 nights while doing the Plain of Jars tour. The guesthouse is a short walk away from the mini-van station and near the main road for various food options. Kong, the guy who runs this place, also does tours to the jar sites. Kong is a great and knowledgeable guy with lots of funny stories, anecdotes and historical insight on the area and the secret war. I am super glad I booked my tour with him! The room I had was a little tight, but this was perfectly fine for my 2 nights. Hot water shower was great considering it does get a bit chilly there. In the evenings, sit by the fire, have a beer and hang out with the other guests and Kong. This was a great way to relax after a day of touring. Kong was also kind enough to arrange my onward ticket to Luang Prabang and walked us to the mini-van station in the morning to ensure we got the right one. Great location, easy check-in, cozy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Clean, Central, Cheap
Reviewed By Piergiorgio PAfter having seen different places, this is the best solution we have found in Phonsavan. It is centrally located near the Agricultural market, it is very clean, nice people. The room are big, all have wifi and attached bathroom with (real) hot water. The room are located in three floors, but all they are quite and facing a nice courtyard.

Reviewed By andykarlaQuite possibly the best hotel in Phonsavan and also the newest. We pre booked a VIP room – The hotel may be new, however many features are still trapped in a time warp….. The room was large and comfortable – You still require a key to open the room door, and the key must be left at the front desk daily if you wish daily maid service. Note worthy, that for a new hotel there is a lack of electrical receptacles and no USB charging ports. The hot water is on demand but has a capacity of three to five minutes before turning to cold water showers! A plus is the location – Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops as the hotel has no restaurant but plans to open one soon! On the down side – The walls and doors allow hallway noise. The windows and exterior walls allow outside noise to permeate. We were awakened nightly by vehicle noise, noisy parties outside the hotel and guests returning late to their rooms….. New Hotel with No Safe – Warnings posted by the hotel about not being responsible for anything left in the room Breakfast was mostly Lao + Eggs, Fruit, juice & Coffee Good Value for the price

Faded but still comfortable
Reviewed By JoaserHotel is located towards the airport and it is a 20 minute walk to ‚downtown‘ - and nearby dining options are quite limited. Rooms are very large and somewhat dated but all facilities are provided. There is 24 hrs electricity and hot water and (slow) wifi is provided as well. Maly Hotel offered tours to the plain of jars when I visited 15 years ago but the owner (and guide) passed away so not sure whether this is still the case. Breakfast is simple but still decent.
