Unorganized bad restaurant and expensive low quality wines
Reviewed By maurici0gutierrezI chose this hotel because the restaurant Courtepaille beside the hotel. It was a disaster due to bad service and very unclear prices such as EUR9.50 per glass. When I asked the restaurant staff they said the higher prices was due to a shortage of wines in France which is absolutely false.

Good travel stop
Reviewed By redletterdayThis place was heaving when we stayed, booked at short notice as a pit stop on a drive back the the channel from italy. It it on the edge of town, and handy for the roads, but looked a bit of a way from town. There were plenty of parking spaces, despite our late arrival. The room was small and smelt of disinfectant, but was clean and quiet. Shower surprisingly good, as it didn’t look that swish. Top marks for the staff, both at reception and in the restaurant, both of which were very busy. They remained professional, helpful and kind throughout, and the food was very acceptable. If you need a roadside stop for a reasonable price, this place fits the bill.

Ok for a stopover
Reviewed By huw OStopped here on route to Spain with wife and 2 dogs. Basic hotel, but you get what you pay for. Receptionist didn't speak any English, but then I don't speak any French. Restaurant was rather expensive. We the set menu of spag bog with apple tart, not very good,€14, beer was €3.50 for a small glass, wine was €9 for 50cl. I got another bottle to take to the room and was charged €22 for house wine. Food and drink cost more than the room. Top tip: there are a few places to eat close by, it might be worth exploring those, one right across the road. Lidl is just down the road as well. Good for dogs as there is a nice walk along the river out of the gate and turn left.
