Pagege is a small family run hotel with restaurant and bar in the town of Pagegiai that lies approximately 260 km from Lithuanian capital Vilnius, 90 km from the harbor city Klaipeda and 150 km from Kaunas. The nearest cities are Jurbarkas (60 km), Taurage (30 km) and Silute (40 km). Also, the Russian town of Sovetsk is just 10 km away. Hotel Pagege offers 7 cosy and comfortably equipped en-suite rooms. In every of them you will find free Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV, shower,hairdryer,heating, air conditioning. In addition, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board are available for free to all guests. Reviewed By meringa_neringaWe had a wonderful time staying at Pagėgė b&b. Rooms were cozy and clean, and had everything you may need. Most of all we liked the friendliness of Jolanta and Gintautas, who welcomed us warmly and also gave nice recommendations accompanied by some historical details! Looking forward to coming back!:)

Reviewed By LinaB1451went for a meal but when we saw prices decided just to have coffee and snacks and eat somewhere else. expensive for a place in the middle of nowhere.Nice surroundings but Lithuania full of similar places.Friendly service.Nothing really for vegans or vegetarians on the menu.

Reviewed By acornaThe B&B is in a very quiet residential area, but, as Jurbarkas is not big, the central part of the town and all the landmarks and eateries are very close: some 15 minutes on foot and maybe 3-5 minutes by car. There is also a shopping mall just round the corner. Rooms are simple but clean, warm and well-equipped, internet connection is excellent. Beds are comfortable. There was a nice touch – apples from the owner’s garden. Breakfast was stunningly good with wide variety of foods, including home-grown vegetables. But the best was the owner – lovely lady with her charming dog, made the stay more like a visit with loving relatives.

Reviewed By Gitana SNice, modern hotel with helpful staff. Our room was on a smaller side but had everything we needed. Good shower. Breakfast was tasty, good variety of food and the lady that was serving could not have done enough. Scrambled eggs and crepes were amazing. Plenty of parking around. Good location, quiet road but very close to the centre. We would surely recommend to stay there.

Located close to the shore of river Nemunas, surrounded by a lovely garden, our bungalow was an invitation to relax and enjoy. The owner is a truly charming and hospitable lady. Do not miss out on her delicious breakfast with a view on the Nemunas! I definitely recommend staying here.

Приветливых хозяин встретил нас и ознакомил с местностью, в нашем распоряжении был целы уютный домик с большой кроватью и всеми удобствами. Большое спасибо за отдых - это место было настоящей находкой для нас!

Had too high expectations
Reviewed By Irena RWe booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary and hoped for something special, since this is a castle, but it did not meet our expectations. It is true that the furniture in the rooms is authentic (which looks nice) but, truth be told, it is old. The side of our dresser was cracked and it was hard to open the drawers. The bed was short and my husband who is tall just couldn't lay in it straight, so we didn't get a good night's sleep. The TV was ridiculously small (we didn't use it as it would have been a pain to watch it). We read many bad reviews about the restaurant of this hotel; therefore, we didn't have dinner here, but breakfast was good. Wi-Fi did not work in the room.

Good Location, Nice Rooms
Reviewed By Thorsten MRoom 15 has perfect river view. Of course you should keep the windows closed at night because of mosquitoes, but other than that the room was fine. Walking distance to the city center, good food in the restaurant with changing daily dishes and many pictures of Old Taurage on the walls. So, all in all, a good place with hard-working staff.

Reviewed By Greta SWe booked 4 rooms in the main house facing the river and absolutely loved our stay! It's in the middle of nowhere, so you don't hear any sound of passing cars; only the relaxing river sounds. Rooms were simple but spacious enough and clean. Rooms with balconies on the second floor were probably the best. Would happily return to this place next summer! P.S. Make sure to rent kayaks during the day & book sauna for the full nature experience package!
