It is simply impossible to sleep after 7am, since there is a lot of noise on corridors, other rooms and facilities. People talk loud while passing our door, I can hear furniture moving on other rooms as housekeeping starts to work and noises from the restaurant, among other. As we like to sleep comfortably, I must say I'm truly disgusted by this awful place. I tried to complain about the noise and asked for another room. I was ignored.

If you are on business (as I were) and believe that all Novotel follows a standard level, this is not the case. The service level is very poor and early in the morning people from housekeeping employees talking loudly, disturbing your sleep. I have been there for 3 night and in the second night I requested a room-service, which they decided to attend after fourth request...

Ample breakfast with fresh fruit and local fare. Wi-fi signal poor due to r restriction of local network. Situated near the centre of town which makes finding places to eat and drink easy. Staff will recommend.

Reviewed By level30kEverything was as expected and even better during my stay, the hotel is strategically located on the border to Paraguay, with the famous China Shopping in walking distance (about 7 minutes), very close to the airport and close to the bus terminal. All the staff is very helpful and nice , specially Mr. Gustavo (the hotel manager) and Ms. Mirna (reception). Rooms are well maintained and clean, with basic but very well organized and smart furniture. The only things that could be better are the acoustic insulation of the doors (you can hear clearly what happens in the hallway) , but this is a common thing in most hotels in Brazil and South America and the other thing is the choice of TV channels which is limited and the image is not very clear. Breakfast it good with a reasonable choice of food and is served in the bright breaks fast room in front of the reception where there is also a small bar which features reasonably priced drinks and food. Wi-Fi is stable and available in all parts of the property. If you come by car the parking is complimentary. For sure this hotel is the number one choice in Ponta Pora!

Reviewed By sngmdA good budget option in Bonito. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. Free parking and walking distance to the center. Pool area was ok, with very limited seating (only two lie down chairs and a handful of tables and chairs). More seating was added when the bar opened. There was plenty for breakfast, and although the quality was reflected in the price of the hotel, there was enough for a good start to the day every day. Would consider this place again on a future visit to Bonito. The reason for the 4 stars was that the sheets on the bed were dirty (stained) when we got the room, however, they were replaced and everything after that was alright. Also, the hostel as implemented a "no external sodas (refrigerantes) or beers" policy, which seems like a grasp to make some more money from their guests. Feels unneccessary and is annoying. It didn't really affect us, but just leaves a bad feeling.

Reviewed By AnneLouise_MarceloHotel da Praça belongs to the same owner of Pousada Arizona and the tourism agency "Agência AR", which can promote to you the best integrated reservation packs for local tourism, including their brand new accommodations (opened on Nov 2nd, 2012), local transport, sightseeing, etc. In fact it was a miracle find out a week before our stay, two available bedrooms on their high season with visiting to all sightseeing we wanted along six days to four persons. The town was simply full. All sightseeings at Bonito have a controlled number of people which usually ends in two or three months before this period. It is a ecological regulatory procedure control. Because this, before go there, It is recommend to plan ahead all your daily schedule of your entire stay. Remembering we are brazilians, our touristic support was made by Miss Josi Rossatt (from Pousada Arizona) whose services and attention to us and our situation (reserving on the last minute) was simply impressive, because most trip agencies in town, were not so interested to work hard (as she did) at that moment, because a week before, everybody already made their day! At that moment, if there were some interesting thing to do in order to visit, certainly it would demand a hard work to find out in order to sell it. Miss Josi Rossatt definitely has our appreciation, because demonstrated that has a professional posture which unfortunately most brazilians do not have yet to our tourism. "May the Force be with you" (foreigner) on the next World Cup of 2014 in Rio de Janeiro... you will need it! We vote on Miss Rossatt in order to be a manager on 2013! The hotel is brand new, the rooms are cozy with conditioning air, the regular area like swimming pool and restaurant are pretty good, the breakfast is simple but good enough to maintain your energy until the lunch, which is usually made on one of your outdoor touring. There is no safe in the rooms. Until that day there were no TV sets on the rooms, but certainly till your vacation they will provide them. The wireless internet is good (provided by three 3Gs links) and attend all floors unless the roof, where is located the swimming pool, big jacuzzi and breakfast room. There is an opened parking area, and although the hotel's fronkdesk is 24h, there is nothing to worry about with your vehicle because Bonito is a pretty safety town. Prepare your stomach, because all fish on the restaurants are full of oil. And DO NOT GO to "OCA DA MANDIOCA" a restaurant near the hotel because it is a tipical tourist trap! The worst and expensive meal you will have in the town. On the other hand, there are a lots of good restaurants near from this hotel, where you can have a good typical local dinner, like Pantanal, Cantinho do Peixe and Casa do João (if Mr. João be in a good day!). If you like ice cream, you need to visit a place four blocks from the hotel named Palácio do Sorvete. Actually is a ice cream factory which sells their own product in a hot saloon made by local and weird fruits. Would you like a snack? Go to Vicio da Gula, three blocks from hotel. Best place in town to have a honest sandwich and juice with regional fruits, made with mineral water (which is a very important item on that region). Those were our tips. Good look and have a nice trip to Bonito.

Great base for exploring; not too far from downtown

The pool was nice and our triple bedroom (2 single beds and 1 queen bed) had a good temperature and a comfortable (and functional) bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and had quite a few options. The pool bar was OK; staff was not always around and drinks could be more elaborate. The only down for me was the size of single beds. But with a lot of sightseeing/adventures to do, I just crashed every night! The hotel also has a tour company on site, which was very helpful and practical. They helped us hire a wonderful driver (Adão). I'd definitely go back!
