Reviewed By D EClean room, ultra comfortable bed, and plenty of space. Staff members are always friendly and courteous. The breakfast coffee is some of my favorite hotel coffee ever. For the rate, this motel cannot be surpassed in Searcy.

The double bed room was very clean, breakfast was great, with items well stocked and a varying menu each day. The whole staff was amazing kind and accommodating. Indoor pool was nice as was work out facility and fresh baked cookies each night was a hit with my young son and The hit coffee bar always available a hit for my wife. I could use many more adjectives but this one is great. You definitely should stay here!

Guaranteed room not there when you arrive
Reviewed By kabrav33I arrived around 9:00 after a long day of driving to find the front desk clerk Trista sitting in the breakfast area with her boyfriend. When I finally got her to come to the desk, she informed me that they had oversold the hotel by eight room and let my reservation go. I had made this reservation months ago and it was guaranteed with a credit card. She was unapologetic and rude. We have a student attending Harding next year and I’m sure we will make many trips in the future and we definitely won’t be staying at the Holiday Inn. Don’t make a reservation here if you really need the room to be available when you arrive.

Kicked me out rather than deal with concerns

Apparently I’m not the first person they asked to leave rather than deal with a concern. I arrived during the first few minutes of some bad weather. It had been snowing about ten minutes so far. Staff said the water for the shower was out. I asked for a discount, given that hot water is part of what one is paying for, but they said no. I said ok, but mentioned that I would probably discuss this in my review. (I should have kept quiet). A different staff member came up and said I should cancel. I politely said I don’t want to cancel, but would simply be mentioning the lack of shower (or discount) in my review. He said this is a natural thing (the weather) and then stated he was refusing to let me stay. I was able to get a refund online, since the hotel refused me. I drove away in the worsening weather and stayed elsewhere. But I was disappointed in their behavior. I had always enjoyed staying in this hotel over the years when visiting Searcy so this attitude was a disappointment. I know they can’t control the weather, but they can control what they choose to charge for a room that doesn’t provide the features it is supposed to provide. But I guess they got what they wanted as I wasn’t able to leave this review on the site I booked from.

Good Place to Rest
Reviewed By hackett12021I was traveling in a group of three older ladies. We chose this hotel because it had the best sleeping arrangements for the price and its good reviews. We were not disappointed. The gentleman checking us in was very pleasant and even came out to the car to help us with our luggage. The room we were given was very large. The two queen beds were very comfortable, even more so than at some of the other more well known hotel chains that we also stayed at on our road trip. The hotel was quiet and very clean. It seems that they are in the process of renovating this hotel. It was a little bit difficult to find as it sits back off of the highway kind of behind some other businesses. The bathroom was small, but adequate and clean. It was a good place to sleep for the night. I would definitely stay again.

On may 13th 2022 I checked into my room has I made my walk around the hotel trying to find my room I see that the pool is closed, elevator is down and everything is truly outdated. I get to my room open the door and see that the room wasn't up to par either. The room had a smell, couch was stained and nasty looking, toilet wouldn't flush properly, water pressure was weak during my shower and to make matters worse my neighbor was loud and smoking weed. I talked with front desk about smell and was offered another room.
