Comfortable bed with huge modern bathroom. Fantastic shower and 2 sinks. We were on the second floor so we did hear our upstairs neighbors. Rates fluctuate greatly so pay attention.

The hotel renovations are gorgeous....the room was spacious and clean. The pool and grounds were very well maintained. It was a pleasure to drink coffee on the balcony overlooking the pool! We wanted to but didn't get to visit the lounge as we were just too busy. We plan to come again and spend more time in this hotel and in the area.

Reviewed By bigmikejonesIf you have 40 footer or longer, book premium pull thru sites. Roads are kind of narrow and closeness of sites may be an issue. Lots of work going on and I can see the improvements with tree trimming and constant attention to the grounds.

Reviewed By SoFloTv"You gotta give a little to get a little..." were the words spoken by General Manager Daniel Ivarra, discussing his hotels availability of a tasty & full, hot breakfast when some hotels are still riding the COVID-19 "brown bag" excuse. And that pretty much sums up the underlining tone of this Quality Inn. You get a lot without breaking the bank. After having spend several days at this establishment - as well as others in the Buellton/Solvang area - we would argue it wins the "Best in Value" category. Again, that starts with management a.k.a. Daniel & his staff. He seems to be omnipresent & truly cares about his clientele combined with a matching personality. He will put a smile on your face. Rooms - while compact - are modern and clean. We will automatically award an extra point for "shower power" at any lodging, including this one, mindful California is in a drought. We stipulate that there's a middle ground between a 20 min. trickle attempt to get your hair wet & an 8 min. invigorating clean-up. Who knew you can still get daily housekeeping if so requested? While probably not necessary it's nice to know it's available here. Speaking of...the housekeeping staff is personable & proactive in servicing the guests. Borrowing from Daniel's words we will attest that you'll get much more than "a little"...

Reviewed By sammiyangchrisyI usually don’t write reviews here (mostly on Yelp) but I’m writing this to let those who read reviews here that this hotel is great, especially the staff members. The only issue that I had was the pool is currently in renovation and that we ended up using Sideways Inn’s pool/jacuzzi which wasn’t exactly good. Nevertheless, the pool experience should not affect the 5 star treatment that I had here.

Reviewed By log24Super annoying that it’s not possible to walk to the hotel from the self parking garage. Didn’t see anyone available to take us in the golf cart at checkout so we resorted to walking in the road. Then we had to wait for a car to enter the garage to get to our car and wait for someone else to open the garage so we could leave. Casino was smokey and gross. Mattress was rubbery and uncomfortable. Little room fridge was loud. No late checkout. Only plus was EV charging in the garage. Won’t stay here again.

I worked with Ms Garcia, the manager, for the 15 room block. My guests were impressed with the hotel’s convenience to shopping and restaurants. The rooms provided a quaint and homelike experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Ms Garcia and her staff provided the kind of service to each guest that left us with memories of Solvang that we well cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend this hotel for your next visit to Solvang!

Reviewed By 838megdA peaceful and tranquil hotel that was perfect for a wine tasting trip with friends. The rooms were very nice and the grounds were beautifully landscaped and very inviting. They took a 1950s motel and reimagined it as a luxurious hotel tucked away from everything. Breakfast was provided and they had a small store as well. Really liked the focus on a peaceful and tranquil experience - no loud guests or noisy kids - lots of friendly people staying there. And the staff was very responsive to requests.

We weren't even able to stay the night

At first glance, the room was fine with the exception of there being just a key to lock the door, but as we looked around the room it became apparent that it is rapidly falling into disrepair. The nightstands both had cracked and peeling veneer; the bathtub was also peeling at the drain; the microwave came straight from a 1980s garage sale; the AC unit worked but the control cover was broken and it was loose from the wall; the twist handle for the Venetian blinds was not connected to the blinds; there was a strange musty smell in the room; the soaps were all large bottle community use, which I stopped using years ago after finding mold in one; there was a buzzer alarm going nonstop for something which you could hear if you opened the window, and the final thing that sent us packing was the dirty item under the vanity in the bathroom, I don't know if it was a rag or someone's underwear. We got a partial cash refund and a gift certificate for Hotels.com and we were on to the next place.
