Nice hotel right on the beach
Reviewed By JF_LeandriThis is a nice hotel right on the beach. We had a a suite which was massive with tons of cabinets and a beautiful view. The hotel could do with a bit more upkeep and attention to details, especially for a place that aims for luxury. Note that only suites have an ocean view, other rooms not sure, but probably no view as such. Parking is small so you might end up parking outside. Restaurant is OK but not great.

Reviewed By mashman123A favourite spot for us to unwind at the end of the week. The beer is cold the food is tasty and the service good. The kids have a ball and really enjoy the jungle gym and make friends easily.(Only critique would be have some spot lights that illuminate the jungle gym in the evening) Really like that you have extended the patios overlooking the palms and beach. See you soon again

Reviewed By Lynne MMy husband stayed at Villa Roc twice in the last month on business and was blown away by the hospitality and professionalism of the hosts. Nothing was too much effort and the accommodation was upmarket, comfortable and spotless. He thoroughly enjoyed Heidi's hearty breakfasts and has said he will most definitely return when in the area again. He said the location in Salt Rock was also great.

Disastrous New Years Eve 2022
Reviewed By CathFfordeThe first thing I saw, was that there was no side table or lamp on one side of the bed or plug point. 2. Only one of the two plug points on the right side of the bed (by the sliding door) worked. This is the only plug point to charge cellphones or plug in a hairdryer. I could not see myself in a mirror to do my hair. 3. The room was dirty, chocolate wrapper and Lego on the floor, a two inches of old burnt out candle in a drawer and a dirty bath. 4. There were very stained gowns and one had a used tissue in the pocket. I gave them to Martie and she never brought clean ones. 5. Toilet seat stained and dirty. The carpet is filthy. 6. Bath plug impossible to use. It had a hairpin put through the plastic. 7. Luxury suite with a double bed was actually two single beds pushed together with a split in the middle with a duvet that was too small. 8. Every time Martie changed her channel on her TV ours would change. I brought this to her attention and she said ‘something was wrong’. Three channels only. Despite my husband’s request to put one channel onto CNN and we’re advised by Martie that ‘the owner’ would do this, it was not done. 9. The air conditioner started making a big noise at three o’clock in the morning and we had to switch it off despite it being humid. 10. I had a cold breakfast with undercooked eggs. The table setting was literally thrown together and the table rocked around spilling our juice. It was in the end a very upsetting experience. I feel cheated out of a happy New Years!!

Reviewed By Arnia63We did feel very welcome by the owner. The owner was very helpful when we had some trouble with our car and when my boyfriend was ill. She also recommended some good places to have diner. The room was nice and very clean, we had a great shower and bath in the bathroom. At this guesthouse there are a few rooms, therefore it is quiet over there which we liked. The guesthouse is near the beach, we walked to the beach for a nice morning walk. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. Thank you!

Trevors wood art is very impressive and Sharneens paintings exquisite esp the paradise flycatcher above our bed! Kids loved the pool even in the rain! Was an amazing stop over where the kids could run free. Lovely breakfast on the deck.

Reviewed By Greg KFrom the moment we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly lady by the name of Sally. The room we were allocated to was absolutely immaculate, clean bedding stunning view & clean fresh bathroom. Lovely breakfast thank you once again. Definitely would recommend. Lovely stay.
